None
(18) Essential health and safety requirements The lighting fitting with fluorescent lamps meets the requirements of EN 50014:1997,
EN 50018:1994 and EN 50019:2++5 expect of Paragraph 5.2.
The deviation with respect to the design of the proven lamp socket is permissible, because in conjunction with the lamp holder it was proven experimentally, that the measures of protection chosen provide a safety standard at least equal to the harmonized European Standards for the type of protection “Increased Safety”.
The evaluation was based on the draft CLC/SC 31-4 (Sec) 157. Zertifizierungsstelle Explosionsschutz Braunschweig, December 12, 1997

Description of the supplements and modifications 1. The light fittings may be marked as follows: EEx ed IIC T6 or EEx ed IIC T4. 2. The translucent cover (Pos. 23 on drawing No. 60 001 04 00 0) may also be manufactured as
one moulded part 3. For all-pole disconnection, the contact block may be built in according to the description. The
contact blocks are actuated via the central lock. 4. The light fittings may also be manufactured without switch. These light fittings have to be
provided with a label “de-energize before opening”, which is to be attached at the outside of the enclosure next to the central lock in such a way that it is visible when the light fitting is completely installed.
5. Instead of the terminal Type 8184, line-up terminals with separate Type Examination Certificate
to Directive 94/9/EC, having commensurable electrical values and maintaining the creepage and clearance distances to EN 50019, may be installed
6. For purpose of control, a control unit according to a separate Type Examination Certificate to
Directive 94/9/EC Type 6048, PTB 98 ATEX 1053 U can be installed in the primary circuit/supply circuit of the light fittings. The required clearance and creepage distances to EN 50019 must be rated sufficiently.
7. The light fittings Type 6000/52., Type 6000(54., Type 6000/82. and Type 6000/84. with electronic
ballast Type 6042/72. or Type 6042/74. may also be used at ambient temperature up to 55 °C. The light fittings will be marked accordingly.
