In 2002 Blaine met a young lady from Bratislava, Slovakia. They began a wonderful relationship
In early 2003 Karolina was in a very serious accident, and was in the hospital for many months. Blaine stood with her during her most difficult time in life. Their relationship grew stronger.

On February 25, 2016, fourteen months after suffering a severe brain stem stroke, our dear brother was called home to heaven to join that great cloud of witnesses and to abide in the blessed arms of his loving Father and Lord.
He was a faithful husband, father, friend, brother and uncle. He was faithful in his Christian walk. He was a great man. We will miss him greatly. Praise God.
