January 2013
• I helped formalized my son’s idea into a business entity
• Bobby From Bobby Inc.• Will collect, sort, ship and distribute books, educational materials,
supplies and equipment for children in Africa.
• These items will be distributed through our oversea partnerships organization.
The Need for Books From Bobby
• High illiteracy rate
• Shortage of professionally trained educators
• Lack of access to quality educational material and equipment
• Limited exposure to technology
Mission & Vision
Mission:
The purposes for which the corporation is organized is to assist and partner with area/international community leaders, organizations, schools and governmental entities to ensure that every child in Africa have access to educational materials and equipment.
Vision:
The project vision is to equip and empower every African child with access to education in a safe learning environment and to eliminate illiteracy.
Goals
Books From Bobby Inc. is to plan, develop and implement/manage educational and community development initiatives including:
• Mobilizing international and local community resources to provide African children with access to education in a safe learning environment
• Providing assorted educational books and resources to schools and/or other educational institutions
• Bridging partnerships with publishing entities whereby they will donate materials to help meet the need request of the supported schools
• Encouraging cross-cultural understanding by organizing groups to travel and visit recipients schools and communities
The Corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, educational, religious, or scientific purpose within the meaning of Section 501 © (3) of the Internal Revenue Service.

• Liberia Market Women Project• New preschool for children who mothers work in the market area in
downtown Monrovia, Liberia
• Initiative to help address growing concerns of women entrepreneurs and lack of early education programs in Liberia
• Johnny Volker Elementary and High School • Working with Principal Harlan Gontee and Peace Corp
• Government school in Saclepa (Nimba County) Liberia
• Approximately 1000 students and 40 teachers
