INTRODUCTION
At the official Borderless Brands launch event on June 1st at JWT's World Headquarters in New York, executives from GE, PepsiCo, Facebook, AOL, HSBC, Sapient Nitro, Heineken, Thomson Reuters and AMEX kicked off a dialogue that pressed home the critical need for brands to become more adept at connecting with consumers on a global scale.
OVERVIEW In response to these challenges Social Media Week is launching Borderless Brands, a new program that aims to provide global marketers with unique perspectives into how social media is impacting global brand communications.
Consisting of a week-long tour of three international Social Media Week cities, Borderless Brands will enable a small group of executives to meet and engage with media & technology innovators around the world who are shaping the future of social and mobile media.
