ThenewlydevelopedBRABUSPowerXtraCGIadditionalcontrolunitwastwoyearsinthemakingandfeatures:

TheBRABUSPowerXtraCGImodulewasdevelopedtoachieveasig-nificantincreaseinpoweroutputofMercedes-BenzCGIengineswhiletaking intoaccountallsafety-relatedfunctionsof theengine.Therearenonegativeeffectsoftheperformancemoduleonenginelife.

ThechallengeindevelopingtheBRABUSPowerXtraCGImodulewasnotintheincreaseinpoweroutputbutin:

BRABUS PowerXtra CGI modules only release their extra powerwhen the engine and drivetrain are in perfect operating conditionwithcorrectoperating temperatures.Until theenginereaches thiscondition, theoriginalparameterssetby themanufacturer remainunchanged to maximize engine life. The BRABUS PowerXtra CGImodulemonitorsandcheckssensorsignalsandthusalsomonitorsand recognizes any symptoms of component ageingwhich then inturnaretakenintoaccountwhencontrollingpoweroutput.
