At the end of term all unnamed and unclaimed school uniform will go to the uniform
shop to be sold. Unnamed non school uniform will be donated to charity.
CHORAL FESTIVAL 2017 On Monday and Tuesday evening, accompanied by Mrs Dabusti, Mrs Coffee, Mr
Brothers and Mr Wright, more than 70 students from our Infants and Primary school Choirs
performed at the Q Theatre as part of the Queanbeyan schools 2017 Choral Festival.
Students in K-2 sung about a marvellous toy that made lots of different sounds, followed
by an upbeat story of three little fish that swam all the way out to the sea.
Students in 3-6 took us on a journey of soul
music with a mowtown melody and then a
harmonious story of why we sing.
Congratulations to all of our Choir students
from K-6 who represented our school so
positively.

COMMUNITY NEWS
Bungendore Boomerang Bags
Boomerang Bags is a community driven project that makes and circulates reusable shopping
bags to help reduce the use of plastic. Boomerang Bags are made by volunteers (kids
welcome) with second-hand and repurposed fabrics.
We are currently seeking donations of fabrics for our first sewing bee. Fabric, including offcuts
and remnants, curtain material, clean tablecloths, sheets, pillowcases and t-shirts (larger sizes)
are being collected by Christina Steele at the Bungendore Public Library. Cotton thread, pins
and any other sewing materials are also welcome.
For more information about sewing bees and other activities, please join the Bungendore
Boomerang Bags group on Facebook, or contact Melissa at [email protected]
This project is supported by the Bungendore Food
Lovers Market, Wild Rose Organics, the Southern
Harvest Farmers Market and the Bungendore
CWA.
