Our Strategy
We work with Project Partners who have established local operations, long relationships and deep roots within the communities we serve.
Our Project Partners speak the language, understand the culture, have years of field experience and have secured invaluable connections to localized resources while taking a hands-‐on approach to street kid rehabilitation.
This model allows us to be extremely efficient with the donations raised, as we do not fund personnel or overhead on the ground. Our donations go directly to fund the children. The only expenses we incur in our projects are the costs of travel to perform the due diligence and auditing required by this model.
Our experience has shown that we are able to deliver the most value by leveraging and focusing our access to financial and creative resources in Chicago to address the obstacles and support the amazing work of our partners on the ground.

Cité Kids Documentary Series
The Cité Kids documentary series is intended to spur social discussion and be an inspiration to develop creative solutions from our supporter base. The documentaries provide a behind the scenes look at the work Charity4LIFE is doing, who they are helping, and where your donations are going.
Cité Kids: Haiti
Cité Kids: Haiti follows Charity4LIFE as they document the lives of four children living in Cité Soleil: Djimmy, Lamarre, Adeline and Naderge. It’s a compelling testimonial to the hardships of life and shows how children living in Cité Soleil can overcome adversity through the opportunities afforded by education.

Where We Focus
We focus on three key areas of development:
• Primary Education • Arts & Recreation • Life Skills
These key areas collectively provide our kids with the educational foundation plus the emotional and basic life skills and tools they need to support their transition and overcome the barriers of street life.

Raising Donations
Our mission is supported primarily through public donations via our monthly Happy Hour series, other public fundraising events, and direct charitable giving. This makes up more than 75% of our funding, of which 100% goes directly to fund our projects in the field. We are also supported by close corporate partnerships and direct private donations. This accounts for just fewer than 25% of our funding and is primarily used to fund our local operations in Chicago.
