Water Problems
• In Cameroon water is a national problem.• Water comes only for a few hours, usually at night.• It is unsafe for consumption and so it contributes to
the death of millions of people.• Hundreds of millions of people suffer from lack of
access to clean safe water. • Women and girls need to walk a lot to get water. • Some of them line up in queues and wait for hours to
get some water that can barely sustain for a whole family.

Water Problems - Solutions• Many countries spend a huge amount of money on war but it
could be better if this money is spent on wells.• Set up projects such as ‘The Water Project’ to help have clean
water technologies.• Have more pumplays (near villages, schools, near houses) to help
water pump up from the underground.• Donate money to help set/build these projects.• Boil or filter the river water. • Distribute more bio- filters to the community.• Government should help by collecting money from taxes to buy
such resources.• Filter river water such as that of the Sanaga river which is the
largest river.
