Resume Book
Prepared by Career Connection
Department of Economics University of California, Santa Barbara
February 2014
Dear Potential Employer: This booklet introduces thirteen students from the UCSB Department of Economics who are seeking internships during the summer of 2014. These Career Connection Fellows were chosen through a rigorous process, including meeting with a panel of our alumni. The panel selected the finalists who would best represent the department, and they are presented to you with our highest recommendation. In case you are not familiar with our program, the Department of Economics is comprised of three different majors: Economics, Economics and Accounting, and Economics/Mathematics. All of our students complete a common core of courses, and a group of courses allowing them to specialize in a particular area. As you will see from the enclosed resumes, our students’ interests span a wide domain, ranging from finance and accounting to environmental economics. We encourage you to contact any of them directly if you have suitable opportunities. We would be pleased to work with you in placing these students. If you are interested, please contact Joan Giovannone in the Career Connection Office, at 805.893.2824, or via email at [email protected]. Sincerely yours, Jon Sonstelie Professor of Economics Career Connection Faculty Advisor
