The Catanoso family held their 54th An-nual reunion at the Avalon Campgroundin Clermont on September 17th, 2011. Asusual, it was a very happy day. The camp-ground is owned by brother Len Catanosoand his family, and is the perfect spot tohold our rather large get-together. Themajority of family members live here inCape May County and we see each otheroften throughout the year, but it is a greattreat to welcome those who come fromlonger distances and to fill each other inon the latest news. After asking a bless-ing, our day starts out with a great vari-ety of delicious foods, topped by a lusciousdessert table, and then the games begin! The highlight of competition is the BocciTournament, which is a fiercely fought se-ries of games, with a process of elimina-tion, until the trophies for 1st & 2nd placeare awarded. The patriarch of the familyis Tony, who will celebrate his 95th birth-day this December. Our darling newestmember is baby Madeline whom we wel-come to our fold as #157... and counting!
