VIBRATORY MASS fiNISHING PROCESSREM Chemicals Inc., Southington, Conn.

Normal parts grinding and polishing operationsleave a linear pattern of surface ridges and valleys, which must be removed in subsequent operations. This is especially important for metal-tometal parts. REM's chemically acceleratedvibratory mass finishing process increases the lifeexpectancy of treated components. The processhas become the standard in aerospace and automotive manufacturing.
