Engineering process followed between Cisco and VMware since the introduction of the product in 2009: • Every release of N1K has to go through an interoperability and certification plan (test
suite) and results provided to VMware
• Same is true for every release of VMware vSphere – major, minor, patches and updates
• When issues are found, Cisco file bugs against their code through the VMware DCPN portal • Cisco N1KV team members part of DCPN: Srinivasan Krishnamurthy, Truemenraj Paulraj, Gleb
Sapozhnikov
• The teams engaged just before announcing vSphere 6.0 support and validated the interoperability of N1KV & vSphere 6.0
Cisco and VMware continues to ensure interoperability of N1KV and vSphere
