DESCRIPTION
The CL-9260 trainer Solid-State Control Circuits has been designed to help teach solid-state control systems. The trainer allows the student to learn basic principles of electronics so as to be able to prepare and insure basic maintenance programs of electronic systems. The trainer also helps the student understand, explain, and verify the operations for different components (resistors, diode, transistors, relays, photo-cells basics, logic circuit, display, binary-decoder, etc.) and solid-state circuit used in industry. Storage cabinet included.
The CL-9260 Moduponents® help the student to learn:
• Various stages in transforming alternative signals into positive direct signals• Different methods for polarizing bipolar transistors• Transforming random signals into square waves• Electromechanical relay wiring method• Pulse generation with RC circuit and transistors (multivibrator)• Monostable oscillator using a 555 integrated circuit.• TRIAC and DIAC operation• Filter operation in eliminating frequency interferences• Electronic relay operation• Operation of integrated circuits used in TRIAC zero-voltage triggering• Optical sensor operation• Solid-state thermostat• Operation of a BCD counter, a 7-segment BCD decoder and a BDC decimal decoder• Shift register operation
