”CoLab Denmark represents a conceptual model for the development of assisted living technologies cross-sectoral within the Danish Healthcare system.
A CoLab is a localized testbed, anchored directly into daily operations. The real experts – the operating staff at the hospital and municipality –all pool their knowledge, needs and facilities into a common model for collaboration drawing in citizens and companies. There by creating a unique opportunity to test and develop tomorrows assisted living technologies in accordance with real end-user needs alongside giving the companies value feedback to be used in perfecting a product.”

PurposeThe wireless system sets out to help patients manage their diabetes and share important information with i.e. you. In other words it promotes self-management. Separate patient and healthcare professional online portals, with cloud-based storage, enables patients and healthcare professionals access to the same information in real time. The build-in Bolus Advisor component supports patients mealtime insulin dosing decisions confidently. By identifying blood glucose patterns, the patient continuously learn about their own condition. Thereby optimizing therapy that can be given through therapy an easy-to-interpret online logbook and reports which updates in real time.
