incidents, or escalate as necessary. Utilizes work order system to document problems, communicates
resolution of problems, and provides training to other technicians. May be assigned minor or major
projects by the Network Technician Supervisor. May serve as an assistant/backup for another Network
Technician. May be responsible and accountable for a supporting IT service. Performs other related
duties as required.
Job Qualifications: Associates degree is required; supplemented by two years’ experience in
communications systems, operating system maintenance, hardware and software troubleshooting; or
any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the requisite
knowledge, skills abilities for this job. Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license. Must
have experience supporting applications and hardware within a Microsoft Windows environment. Must
have experience in a networked environment. Possess excellent customer service and interpersonal
skills and has the ability to collaborate and work as a team. Possess strong diagnostic troubleshooting
skills in order to resolve incidents in a timely manner.
