I. PRESENTATION
Solidarity Without Borders (SSF), founded in 2009, is a non-profit NGO, registered in the
Spanish Agency for Cooperation and Development (AECID) and other public
administrative bodies at local, national, and international level.
SSF NGO has been positioned within its six years of experience, as a reference
organization in the area of integration, immigration, multiculturalism, education and
development, at the local level, nationally and internationally, including European,
Mediterranean, and Latin America areas.
Concerning the local level, SSF has a remarkable performance in social action projects,
covering direct actions, and providing a comprehensive service to the immigrant
population, including young, elderly people, minors and groups at risk of exclusion.
In addition, within national and international level framework, SSF works with other
public and private entities in interdisciplinary and interrelated actions, development
education designed to foster social change through advocacy, raising awareness,
training, and research applied. Finally, SSF has increased participation in European
projects, and development cooperation projects in Latin America over the last years.
II. MISSION
Promote all kinds of courses, seminars, studies/research and public activities/projects on social, political and cultural rights.
Defending the right to education and academic freedom.
Collaborate with the education authorities and international agencies to promote respect for pluralism, tolerance, justice, responsibility and flexibility in all spheres of education.
Contribute to social welfare and, in particular to those groups composed of at risk of social exclusion and/or in situations of social vulnerability families, children rights, young people who have difficulties in social and labor integration.
Cooperation for development and welfare of the neediest people of countries in need, engage in social awareness towards the development of the South.

III. LINES OF ACTION AND INSTITUTIONAL GOALS
In order to achieve its mission, SSF defines its work in the following lines of action in
which their most important corporate goals are mentioned below.
1. EDUCATION FOR DEVELOPMENT:
The advocacy , awareness, training , and research actions that constitute what is known
as Education for Development are necessary issues to forge a global and solidary
citizenship that contribute to sustainable development. Thus, it is an appropriate
instrument to transform the structures that promote and perpetuate the root causes of
poverty in the South, inequality and exclusion in the North, establishing mechanisms of
integration and social cohesion.

1.2. Advocacy actions:
Within the advocacy work that SSF carries out in collaboration with national and
international organizations, we can highlight the following institutional goals:
Establishing channels to take advance of synergies between immigration and
development cooperation policies among countries.
Developing awareness and advocacy campaigns. In order to improve the
public image of immigration and the fight social and employment
discrimination against immigrants. Education and raising awareness on
cultural diversity.
Promoting local and global change towards a fear and solidary society
respectful to a sustainable environment. Sustainable use of natural and
economic resources.
Encouraging work within Corporate Social Responsibility field and actions
arising from it.

1.2.1. Formation, awareness raising and research actions
Referring to the formation, awareness raising and research actions that SSF
promotes within the scope of development for education, we can highlight the
following institutional objectives:
Foster the principles of multiculturalism and tolerance. Promoting the
integration of immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers in the host society
(both in Spain and throughout Europe).
To promote the integration and cooperation of citizens using culture as an
instrument of action, raising awareness and education for solidarity in order
to achieve caring communities.
To promote social cohesion among people and different societies as the
cornerstone of building a more just and equitable society through training
and raising awareness actions.
To Foster sport and culture activities within societies.
To carry out consulting and research actions in different areas

1.3. SOCIAL ACTION:
Within the field of social action, we can highlight the following objectives:
To promote access to education for the most disadvantaged people, those at risk
of exclusion for physical, social, economic or cultural reasons, as a means of social
change, justice and intercultural dialogue, empowering women in society.
Promoting constitutional values and equal opportunities, and promoting social
volunteering.
Encouraging social integration, access and development of new technologies for
persons belonging to the most vulnerable groups in society, through training and
access to information and communications technology. Technical assistance through
programs and projects focused on technology transfer, and training of human
resources in order to promote a positive change in the implementing geographical
areas.
Encouraging and promoting equal opportunities and integration of people and
institutions through access and use of new technologies.

1.4 COOPERATION FOR DEVELOPMENT
Within the framework of achieving the mission of SSF in the South, we can
highlight the following institutional objectives:
To guide and boost the human and sustainable integrated development for the
communities and people in South countries, through the implementation of
different programs, projects and activities, related to foster solidarity among
people, human rights promotion and international development as NGO specialized
in this area.
To promote, develop and consolidate co-development projects with people and
developing countries in order to foster the integration of the beneficiary
communities, and building up the capacities of civil society and institutions in other
countries.
To improve the living conditions of children, families and communities in the
poorest countries through comprehensive development projects and raising
awareness activities, with the ultimate aim of promoting structural changes that
contribute to the eradication of poverty.
To promote humanitarian aid actions, disaster prevention, emergency assistance
and reconstruction actions.

IV. SSF INSTITUTIONAL STRUCTURE AND WORK AREAS
SSF, as association has a Board, a General Assembly of members, a permanent team,
and a specialized group of collaborators. From their different areas, each of SSF
international experts provides an open and broad vision, which contributes to each of
the implemented actions.

V. LINES OF ACTION. SSF projects, from the most to the less recent, can be delimited in the following lines of action:
1. SOCIAL ACTIONS PROJECTS
Project “SOUTH MADRID NETWORK”. 2014-present time
“South Madrid Network" (Madrid Sur en Red) project aims to promote and enhance the reception of the resident foreign population in the municipality of Alcorcón and surrounding municipalities, both with regard to the socio- professional and civic integration through actions of orientation and legal counseling and actions for acquiring the knowledge of rights and responsibilities enshrined in the Spanish Constitution and Spanish laws. As a result of SSF experience in immigration area with groups at risk of social exclusion in the southern metropolitan area of Madrid from 2012, this project was funded by the Directorate General of Social Services and Social Integration Ministry of Social Policies and Family of Madrid (DGSSIS-CM).

“Reception Service and Legal Counseling on Immigration Matters
(SAEX) " 2014-present time
The project “Reception Service and Legal Counseling on Immigration Matters (SAEX)” was
initiated in 2014 and is being implemented at present time with funding from the
Department of Social Affairs of the City of Leganes.
The SAEX project aims to promote and enhance the social occupational and civic integration
of the resident foreign population municipality of Leganes and surrounding municipalities,
through actions of comprehensive care, foreigners counseling and legal advice (individual
and group training), informing on the rights and obligations enshrined in the Spanish
Constitution and laws, to prevent the administrative irregularity fostering the integration of
legal immigrants in the municipality of Leganes.

“Comprehensive service for children and families project".
2014 -present time
The project involves families and children minors through a professional service that responds to situations of particular vulnerability and social exclusion of families and children of immigrant origin. Actions of comprehensive reception service, guidance and legal advice on immigration matters and actions of social labor guidance are carried out in the town of Leganes and surrounding municipalities. SSF provides information, counseling and legal advice (individual and group sessions) labor to families at risk of exclusion, and undocumented minors children at risk of social educational exclusion residents in the municipality of Leganes. The main project aim is to attack irregular legal residence of the minors. This project has been funded by the Department of Social Affairs of the City of Leganes. Indeed, “Comprehensive Service for Children and Families Project” is the result of the experience acquired since 2012 with groups at risk of social exclusion in the southern metropolitan area of Madrid within the area of integration and immigration of SSF.

Project "IMMIGRATION AND DISABILITY”. The situation of
immigrants disabled. Reception and legal advice on
immigration, raising awareness sessions". 2014 -present time.
This project has its roots in the research that SSF carried out in 2013: "The situation
of disabled immigrants in the town of Leganes recommendations", the actions for
disseminating the results of this study and the feedback or participatory
consultation.
SSF intervenes in situations of particular vulnerability and social exclusion of
disabled immigrants through a professional service that includes actions of
comprehensive care, counseling and legal advice on immigration matters and social
labor actions. Finally, promoting and disseminating knowledge and information
about the high level of special vulnerability that means immigration and associated
disabilities, in order to promote the integration and inclusion of immigrants with
disabilities and raising awareness in the host society.

Project “INTEGRACTION NETWORK”. 2013
The project Integration network aims to "promote and enhance the social occupational and civic integration of the foreign residents from the municipalities of the south west of Madrid ", developing actions of guidance and legal counseling (individual and group sessions) in immigration matters and actions of socio- labor guidance orientation. In addition, the beneficiaries were trained on the rights and obligations enshrined in the Spanish Constitution. The workshops were held in Madrid and in the municipalities of Leganes, Mostoles and Getafe. This project was funded by the Directorate General of Immigration of the Community of Madrid.

Awareness raising and promoting prevention actions against
Gender discrimination and violence in Madrid South Area.
2012
Awareness raising and prevention through social actions with women from 16
different countries with the collaboration of OCIOGIM company, Complutense
University of Madrid. The economic crisis added to the migration process provoked
more vulnerability on women immigration. As a result, it is necessary to work on
awareness raising and prevention against gender discrimination and violence.
Project "Creating self-financed communities (CAF)
2013 –present time.
Encouraging savings, micro credit, and revolving credit aimed to immigrant
families. The SSF project CAF is effective instrument for people with financial
difficulties to obtain low-interest micro loans without having to go to the bank,
where they have not access to credit.

Transversal Intervention Project for the integration of
immigrant families phases I-III. 2012-2014
Traversal Intervention Project for the integration of immigrant families’ phase
funded by private Import and Export Company S.A. This integration is achieved
providing specialized training in immigration matters, labor law, administrative
processes requires, and social and labor insertion counselling.
The process includes individual sessions, continuous counseling, group
specialized workshops for families in situations of social / administrative
disenfranchisement, and training sessions for foreigners for having access to
employment.

2. EDUCATION FOR DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS
“Genre Research on Latin American women residents in the CAM”
2012- 2013
Research on social participation, leadership and exercise of rights and obligations for the
women citizens of Latin American residing in Madrid. This project has been funded by the
Directorate General of Immigration. Ministry of Employment, Women and Immigration of the
CAM. The research is based on the experience of a group of women from 7 nationalities with
different characteristics and different administrative situations. In addition, this study
analyses their forms of participation in the host society (in formal and informal spaces), the
elements that facilitate and promote their integration, the difficulties encountered in this
process and in the areas of participation, as well as the acquisition of leadership qualities or
difficulties preventing conflicts through all the process. Finally, their contribution with the
knowledge acquired, experience, and new perspectives in their home countries promoting a
transformation process as part of the social and political remittances generated within
circular migration.

Raising Awareness and promoting prevention actions against

This project is also included in Social action line since it has components, raising awareness
and social actions. Awareness raising and prevention through social actions with women from

Project " DISABILITY AND IMMIGRATION " 2013.
The research focuses on the situation of immigrants who have disabilities in the
Madrid municipality of Leganes, approaching the social vulnerability of such this
collective, to identify the aid , benefits and services available in the political,
economic, social , welfare, legal and educational area.
In addition, this research analyses their level of vulnerability caused by their
immigration status together with their disabled conditions and the involvement of
government, social organizations, and educational system to encourage their
integration, social inclusion and employment. Finally, taking into account the
diagnosis, this research offers the necessary tools and measures (in the form of
recommendations) for an effective intervention to be used by the key institutions
(administration, social organizations, schools and businesses). This project was
Funded by Disability area in the City Council of Leganes.

Gender Project "WOMEN “WITHIN” AND “FOR”
INTEGRATION”. 2013.
This project is focused to develop activities designed in order to promote and
empower women through the encounter and exchange of knowledge and
experiences among different female population residing in the municipality of
Leganés. This actions boost to achieve real equality of opportunities in their
immediate context.
In this direction, workshops were held focused on supporting the comprehensive
development of women by enhancing their training capabilities and leadership skills.
The participants of these workshops were mainly women immigrants and women
residents in Leganes town. This project was funded by the Delegation of Social Affairs
in the City of Leganes.

projects.
The event “a solidarity Journey” in Madrid Rio Park was carried out for awareness raising and supporting national and international projects SSF with the collaboration of volunteers and representatives of several private companies.

Official launching of the research " Trans-nationalism, Politics,
and Citizen Participation of Immigrants in the Community of
Madrid: the experience of the population with Bolivian origin
concerning overseas voting and other practices." 2010-2012
The main objective of the research is to approach on the civic and political integration
of Bolivian immigrants and their political links with their society of origin, reviewing
important aspects of voting abroad issue during the general elections in Bolivia.
At the same time, this research identify ways and spaces for social and political
participation in the Madrid region assessing the factors and variables involved in
public policy-linking immigrants with their society of origin.
The results obtained provide a more detailed and a deeper knowledge about the
causes and factors that promote such links or affiliation in terms of concern and the
exercise of political rights. These processes affect positively both societies (home
country and destination). A Bolivian immigrant who exercise the right to vote in Spain,
takes part in social participation actions, advocacy and feeds the democratic praxis on
both sides.

3. EUROPEAN PROJECTS
EUROPEAN PROJECT LIGHTHOUSE PROJECT 2014-2017
Labor and skill shortages will rise in the European countries over the next decade,
challenging economic growth prospects. Against this background, the improvement of
the labor market outcomes of immigrants in their European receiving countries is a
central issue to be addressed, in order to ensure that the potential of immigrants’ skills
for Europe’s economic growth is fully tapped. LIGHTHOUSE (www.lighthouse-project.eu)
intends to establish an innovative model and tools for supporting lifelong learning and
career paths for migrants by tailored counselling and recognition of prior learning to
improve skills, employ ability and mobility, drawn from the combination of two
successful frameworks: the Austrian model LOT-House (learning, guiding, trying-doing),
developed by the Austrian project partner, BEST; and the well-established French system
for the recognition of non-formal and informal learning. SSF is leading this project that
will be implemented by a consortium of seven partners from Spain, Norway, Greece,
France, Cyprus and Austria, with relevant know-how and expertise from September 2014
still August 2017.

EUROPEAN PROJECT “THRIEVE” Teacher Professional
Development 2015 - 2017
The main objective is to strength the professional development teachers in charge of
students until 7 years old though professional tools at European level and online
courses using learning platforms. This project aim is to promote positive behavior in
class, reinforce continuous school attendance and improving the learning process.
Among the actions we can high line: training teachers on processes and new teaching
methods at European level, providing teachers new methods of non-formal education
to be applied with children daily in the classroom achieving a positive school climate.
As a result: • Teachers acquire basic skills in order to prepare children to access and
succeed in the classroom. • The quality of the monitoring and detection of risk factors
for school attendance teachers is improved. • Children are assisted building their skills
and improving their learning motivation.
The project consists of a consortium of experts’ partners from Spain, UK, Italy, Austria,
Greece and Germany. SSF is the Spanish partner in the project development and
implementation at all stages in Spain.

KA1 IASIS NGO STAFF MOBILITY 2015
The European Project “Solidaridad Sin Fronteras" Staff Mobility of professionals
workers through a training plan and training of trainers and advisers with the Greek
NGO IASIS, Greek institution supervised by the Ministry of Health and Social Solidarity
of Greece, European Center accredited by the NA Greek (EOPPEP) as VOCATIONAL
TRAINING CENTER - VET (KEDIVIM 1) and the European Volunteer Center (EVS).
OBJECTIVES: Learning of intervention methodologies, research of tools for reception
and intervention refugees and migrants, in situ observation of reception process,
counselling and group and individual action plans carried out for SSF in Spain and its
strategic partners, research on training methodologies for refugees and immigrants,
reduce the gender gap in these groups, legal issues and professional interventions for
people who generally have problems of social and labor integration. Exchange of best
practices and creation of new European networks.

4. INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS
Bolivia Development Project for returnees migrants from
Madrid Community
Research on the impact of the migration process of Bolivian immigrant from
Department of Cochabamba returned to Bolivia in order to take advantage of the
acquired knowledge and experience to become immigration agents of development
and equality in their home community. The specific actions emerging from the results
of the investigation would be in 2 phases:
PHASE 1 (2012-2013). Awareness rising influencing on democratic values, human
rights, political and cultural equality.
PHASE 2 (2013-2015). Building up leadership s capacity to returnee, circular migrants
and their social and family network in Bolivia.
The research results indicate that "Immigration experience involved valuable learning
experience valuable for building up leaders." The main needs of migrants returnee is
overall the demand for employment in the country, and universal access to health

"Stronger Together" PARTICIPATION IN EVENT OF ANNA LINDH
FOUNDATION. Slovenia, November 2015
SSF is part of the Anna Lindh Foundation Network (ALF), important entity Euro-
Mediterranean level, they working for intercultural dialogue between the peoples of
this region. It consists of 42 countries of the area and comprises more than 4000

As part of the activities of the Anna Lindh Foundation Network Slovenia, it was held on
'Stronger Together III', event on 4 and 5 November 2015.
The meeting focused exchange of knowledge and experiences on the current flow
across the migration of the North Mediterranean countries and Europe. What is the
situation in transit countries and how should transit and destination countries react in a
relevant manner? Also it discussed about multicultural society, integration and good or
less good examples of integration.

EXPERIENTIAL WORKSHOP ON EUROPEAN LEADERSHIP QUALITIES
“organized by “SSF” and taught by the Greek education experts IASIS
NGO. October 2015
Among the activities planned of training of managers and staff of the organizations working
with groups at risk of exclusion, SSF with the collaboration of education experts from IASIS
NGO carried out the "experiential workshop in leadership skills” with the support of CEPI
Chamartin and the General Direction of Social Services and Social Integration and Social
Policies of CM. IASIS NGO is a Greek institution specializing in working directly with people
at risk of social exclusion: immigrants, refugees, asylum seekers, women, children, young
and old people and the framework of EU mobility ERASMUS KA1 +. Workshop for leaders of
organizations working with these groups, teamwork methodologies , experiential exercises
and reflection phase were carried out, in which they could learn what a leader, what
characteristics should have and how to generate successful leadership.

Round Table – Institutional Meetings - Visit and Field Observations - In the Frame European Project “SOLIDARIDAD SIN FRONTERAS” PROJECT - ERASMUS+ KA1 – IASIS NGO - SFF
As part of the actions developed in the framework of the European project "Solidarity Without Borders", were held a several meetings and exchanges with different entities, such as the municipality of Leganés, La Merced Migraciones Foundation, and the Dirección General de Servicios Sociales e Integración Social- Consejería de Políticas Sociales y Familia de la Comunidad de Madrid (DGSSIS-CM), with whom were exchanged training, experience and ideas for future projects. IASIS professionals, had the opportunity to make field visits, Reception Service and Legal Counselling of in Leganes, they and they conducted dynamic and interviews with some beneficiaries.

SSF elected as vocal member of the Regional Forum on Immigration.

Solidarity Without Borders (SSF) has participated in the election on immigration Regional
Forum of the Community of Madrid, being chosen as a vocal member. The actions of this
Regional Forum are carried out within the framework of SSF objectives on advocacy,
counselling and protection for migrants at risk of social exclusion, based on an integrated
approach from multiculturalism. Following this line, in order to represent a more active
and effective way immigrant associations, SSF enthusiastically assumed its responsibility as
a member of the Regional Immigration Forum of the CAM.

Immigration and Coexistence. Seminar " Cultural Diversity:
Challenges and Perspectives ". 15/04/2015
SSF is not only an active member of the Forum of Immigration of the Municipality of
Leganes, but also is member of Permanent Council of Immigration and Coexistence as
VICE-CHAIR. In this context, on April 25, 2015 SSF participated in the seminar "Cultural
Diversity: Challenges and Perspectives”.

LIGHTHOUSE PROJECT FIRST following up activities 2014-2015.
SSF starts with enthusiasm this new phase, on the 4th and 5th of November 2014 in
Vienna, Austria, with the responsibility and the challenge of leading this important project,
which aims to create an interactive open space, to offer tailored advice and vocational
counseling to immigrant population.
Two other meeting took place from 2 to 6 April 2015 in Paris, France, and from the 2nd to
the 3rd of July in Stavanger, Norway, both with the Lighthouse Project partners from
Austria, France, Norway, Greece, Cyprus and Spain carrying out actions with the aim of
achieving a fairer, united and solidary world.
Lighthouse analyses that as consequence of the shortage of workers and job skills that will
take place in European countries during the next decade, the perspectives of increasing
the economic conditions will have to face this situation. The improvement of immigrant
labor market will be necessary. In this context, it is of increasing importance to provide an
adequate guidance on learning and employability, and mobility within Europe in a
coordinated and permanent way.

Opinion survey: “GENERAL ELECTIONS FOR PRESIDENT AND VICE
PRESIDENT OF THE PLURINATIONAL STATE OF BOLIVIA, voting
abroad in Spain “Elections 2014 - 2015
SSF carries out continuously education actions, research and analysis of current events.
Indeed, within the actions in the area of research, SSF launched an opinion poll on the
occasion of the "General elections for president and Vice President of the Plurinational
State of Bolivia, the implementation of voting abroad 2014”, following the socio-political
events and following up the first study "Transnationalism, Politics and Citizen Participation
of Immigrants in the Community of Madrid: the experience of voting Abroad and other
practices of the population of Bolivian origin”.
The research design was carried out T by our research team with the collaboration of the
renowned Belgian researcher Jean-Michel Lafleur from the University of Liege in Belgium,
expert on issue of voting abroad in the Bolivian case. The aim of the research was focused
on obtaining information on public opinion concerning political culture and knowledge
about social and political participation of Bolivians resident in Spain, in order to achieve
the improvement and adequate evaluation of the electoral processes that will provide
support to develop future projects. This survey was applied simultaneously to
representative sample polling, the election day, October 12, 2104, in the cities of Valencia
and Madrid.

Group sessions and personalized service in Móstoles and Getafe
municipalities. 2013
Within the social action project "Integration network", SSF provides individual legal advice sessions and group workshops on the Spanish legal framework, tools for integration and employment facilitating the acquirement of knowledge to new citizens of Spanish society in order to achieve their social, labor and administrative integration. This project is implemented with the support of the Directorate General of Immigration of the Community of Madrid, the Department of Family and social Welfare of the City of Mostoles, and the social and Family Affairs Delegation Unit and Integration of the City of Getafe.

Activities with Young people (Workshops CEMU). 2013-2015
Within the training and raising awareness activities a series of workshops with young people took place in the School – Hosting Unit "Boys Town ". CEMU in Leganes municipality. Young people, teachers and parents could learn about the immigration law matters and how to be applied in particular cases.
Workshop on immigration issues with the collaboration of ACHES
and the Rueca 2013
Within the framework of consultancy and the activities carried out in collaboration with
other organizations, SSF held a workshop to inform on recent changes concerning
immigration law and counselling in particular cases. The event was organized in
collaboration with the Association of Chileans in Spain and the Service of Intercultural
Coexistence in Parks, sports fields and other areas of “La Rueca “. This workshop was held
on October 17, 2013 at the “Centro Cultural Mariano Muñoz “.

International Seminar "Analysis, prevention and conflict transformation in
immigration context" UAM. IMEDES-2013
This international seminar was organized by the Institute for Research on Migration, Ethnicity and
Social Development (IMEDES ) of the Autonomous University of Madrid ( UAM ) in April 2013. During
this event, the results of the research R & D project “Conflict and migration in local contexts. A
theoretical and practical approach for coexistence and mediation" were shared. Indeed, SSF was
selected to present the paper research: "Social participation, leadership, rights and obligations: the
citizenship of Bolivian and Latin American women in the Community of Madrid".

Publication of research “Trans-nationalism political of Bolivian
migrants in Spain” and academic and media presentation of this co-
development project in Bolivia ". 2012
This event was organized by the Supreme Electoral Tribunal of the Plurinational State of
Bolivia. Indeed, Solidarity Without Frontiers (SSF) and International IDEA (SUPPORTING
DEMOCRACY WORLDWIDE) held the event on Thursday, August 23, 2012 , at the State
Vice Presidency Hall.
This research had as main objective the approach on the civic and political integration of
Bolivian immigrants and their political links with their society of origin , highlighting
important aspects of the experience of external voting during the General Elections process
in Bolivia. This academic research elaborated with experts from Spanish and Bolivian
universities, social partners and stakeholders enriches the debate and analysis with other
approaches and contributions. This research includes the reflection process, debate and
the results analysis on the results of academic study.

Women Leadership and training workshops. September 2013
Within the program "Women WITHIN and FOR the integration", SSF has carried out several
workshops in order to promote and reinforce women education, women leadership, facilitating
their integral development, and building up their training capacities. The workshops were

Women Hall of Leganes.

VI. NETWORKING.
Solidarity Without Borders "SSF" as specialized organization in integration and the
achievement of social cohesion in in the Community of Madrid. Within SSF guiding aims
we can highlight the coordination of actions and objectives carried out taking into
account the principles of collaboration and networking in order to identify and develop
creative proposals, alternative models from multidisciplinary and integrative
perspectives.
This networking is a priority and has been strengthening its importance internally to
establish a prioritization plan in SSF with four main points. Indeed, one of them is the
strengthening of networks and building up effective linkages.
The results of joint actions with other groups, public administrations at national and
regional level, networking and launching national and international initiatives have been
very positive. In this regard, SSF has promoted coordination and collaboration with
entities linked to social action not only at local and regional level, as the Community of
Madrid, but also with Spanish National Organizations, as public institutions, and
international organizations from Europe, Latin American and Africa.
On the other hand, SSF participates in public forums of study, discussion and training at
regional, national and international level. In this direction, SSF has worked in
coordination and collaboration with social entities of the Community of Madrid, private
organizations, national and international institutions.
Within the priority area of networking at European level, we can highlight the
participation of SSF in the Euromed Anna Lindh Foundation (FAL) network, reference
platform in the Euro-Mediterranean area integrated for more than 4000 organizations in
the field of intercultural, integration, and the development of the Mediterranean
immigrant population through various initiatives. Furthermore, SSF leads the European
project LIGHTHOUSE and is the Spanish partner of the European project "THRIEVE".
Finally, SSF has established as a priority within its strategy the active participation and
integration at international, national and local level through cooperation agreements,
development and networking with institutions, governments and related businesses.

Participation in networks / European projects
1) LIGHTHOUSE Leadership project. Given the need to promote labor market
integration of immigrants, through a European network, SSF leads a pilot project to
provide a coordinated and permanent adequate guidance on learning and
employability 2014-2017.
2) THRIEVE partner Project. The main objective is to reinforce professional
capacities of teachers through professional tools at European level and online courses
using learning platforms, in order to promote positive behavior in class, continuous
attendance and improving the learning process. Training teachers on processes and
new teaching methods providing them new methods and tools for non-formal
education at European level. 2015-2017.
3) KA1 Erasmus + Mobility staff "Solidarity Without Borders" IASIS
NGO 2015. Mobility of professionals for formation, vocational training and field
observations actions for IASIS NGO (Greek Bank) professional equipment, training
methodology exchange, counseling methods for refugees - immigrants, learning,
research, tools, for reception of immigrants, legal advice, personalized guide and
counseling plans and group training programs for refugees, immigrants and people with
difficulties of integration.
4) Member of the European Network Anna Lindh 2015. SSF becomes
member of Euromed Anna Lindh Foundation (FAL), Euro Mediterranean reference
network integrated for more than 4000 organizations in the field of multiculturalism
and integration of Mediterranean immigrants.
5) Participation in the European project Erasmus +: Unexpressed
Talent (Talent not expressed). SSF participates in the actions of project
implementation with the Directorate General of Social Services and Social Integration
as a partner.
6) Participation in Leonardo da Vinci. VEPTRO. Attendance and
participation in the call for European mobility program for professional training and
employment, organized by the Directorate General of Immigration of the Community
of Madrid, whose aim is to work in the "labor area and social and labor integration for
young unemployed in vulnerable situation, preferably immigrants " 2013.

participation in European immigration policy 2.0 Project, organized by the Directorate
General of Immigration and the Ministry of Social Affairs CAM, CIP (Competitiveness
