CONVOYS WHARF: FIRST PLOTFIRST PHASEWe are now preparing plans for the first building within the Convoys Wharf site providing 460 homes, new retail and commercial spaces and a new public route linking the site to Prince Street and New King Street.

Convoys Wharf, once at the heart of Deptford is now a 16ha derelict brown field site. With almost 450m of river frontage, Convoys Wharf will again play a central role in Deptford by re-establishing a sense of place and identity that is unique to this part of London.

Hutchison Property Group obtained outline planning consent in 2015 for a major mixed-use development that will provide:

■ 3,500 new homes including over 500 affordable homes

■ Opening up of Thames-side public access for the first time in 500 years

■ Restoration of the listed Olympia Building

■ New commercial, leisure, cultural and retail facilities

■ New business and affordable business space

■ New pedestrian and cycle routes linking Deptford to the Thames

■ A new 2 Form Entry Primary School■ A new bus route and river-bus jetty

connecting the development to Canary Wharf and Central London

■ Approximately 2,000 new jobs created by the scheme

■ Approximately 1,200 new construction jobs
