Copics with CTMH-VC2010Stamp Set D1435 Howdy
OK, so here we go with another stamp, new this catalog
called Howdy. So cheeky!! Since this is a scene there
are no definitive borders for the sky and grass. You can
pick and choose how much youd like to color.
SKY:B000(Heavenly Blue), B00, CBP
Ill just round out the sky for demo purposes.By coloringin circles, gives you a cloud feeling.
Next, well color the hay. Im going to use YR21 (crme
brulee ) and shade with YR24 (goldrush).
Now, I added some brown E31. This just helps take the
yellow-yellow look away. And then blend.
Barn:E07(Cranberry),E09,E04,E19(2Gen Barn Red),CBP
I started with E07 leaving white space. Then deepen
the color with E09. Notice how we think of Cranberry
as a red, but Copic considers it an Earth color.
I blended with E04 which is a great blending color. To
really deepen the corners and back of the silo, I added
DOTS of E19.
Notice how I left the side of the silo facing the sun
almost entirely white. Well PUSH the color over there
when we blend with the CBP.
TIP: Its always better to add a little color at a time.
You can always add more if you need it.

Use the Colorless Blender Pen, CBP, topush or move the
color from the dark side of the barn to the light side.
When you work in small circles, the CBP really blends
the color nicely.
Door, Roof, Silo Top: W0,W1, W3
Now color your silo top, roof and barn door. I am using
the warmer greys, but you can really use any grey that
you have.
To finish the scene, use greens for the grass(YG11,13,17
and G24) and browns (E31, E35) for the fence. Fill in
the sky between the fence posts. Use the CBP to
smooth the areas that they meet.
Here is your finished Barn scene. Notice on the back, I
really did do a great deal of blending and color
saturation on the image. Remember, this is a GOOD
thing!! :-D
