From its initial capital of Php250 million, DMCI Mining has been able to generate net income of more than Php500 million and P900 million for 2010 and 2011 respectively. Though subject to the ups and downs of the nickel commodities market, DMCI Mining believes its mining experience and engineering heritage allows it to operate efficiently providing some buffer to adverse market conditions.
DMCI Mining Corp. has been in operation since May 2007 and has been operating mainly in the province of Zambales in the Philippines. Its current operations are in direct shipping ore mining for nickel tenement owners Benguet and European Nickel for their Zambales nickel mines.
Profile
Project Location
The nickel mining business operating results are Direct Shipping Ore (DSO) contracts with Benguet Corp. and Acoje mines.
