Today you will be doing some research about one of these countries. To do this, you will have to look at both human and physical geography.
Physical geography studies the Earth itself. It could include weather, mountains, rivers, oceans, seasons, rocks and climate zones.

I live in France. Here is some information about the country I live in.
France is a country in Europe. It has a population of more than 65 million people. Our capital city is Paris and it is famous for buildings such as the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe. In France, people speak French. Our currency is euros. The most popular religion in France is Christianity. When most people think of France, they think of our famous food, such as frog’s legs, snails, baguettes and cheese. Our flag is red, white and blue. The tallest mountain in France is Mont Blanc. This is the second highest mountain in all of Europe. Our longest river in the Loire River. Our climate is temperate. We have warm summers and cool winters.

India is a country in the south of Asia. It is next to Pakistan, China and Nepal. It is the 7th largest country in the world but it is the second most populated with over 1.24 billion people. Many different languages are spoken in India, including Hindi, Bengali and Urdu. Our currency is rupees. The main religion in India is Hinduism. One of our most popular tourist destinations is the Taj Mahal which means ‘crown of palaces’. The most popular sport in India is cricket. Our climate is hot but we also get lots of rain in monsoon season. Our highest mountain is Kanchenjunga which is 8958m high. It is the third highest mountain in the world.

I live in Canada. Here is some information about the country I live in.
Canada is the second largest country in the world. It is so big that it has 6 different time zones! Despite its size, the population is relatively small with around 35 million people. Our capital city is Ottawa and our currency is Canadian dollars. Most of the northern part of the country is too cold for trees to grow while the Rocky Mountains cover a large part of the west. Niagara Falls is one of our most famous tourist attractions. It is the largest waterfall in the world. Canada is famous for maple trees which produce delicious maple syrup. Our flag even has a maple leaf on it.
