MountainCamas Sheriff Dept.News Release On Saturday January30th, at approximately11:18 a.m., the SoldierMountainSkiAreacalledCamas County dispatchstating that a young fe-malehadstruck thesideof a restroom buildingwhile skiing towards thebaseoftheresort. SoldierMountainSkiPa-trolwasprovidingmedicalattention to the girl whowas unconscious and notbreathing.TheyrequestedCamasCountyEMSandLifeFlighttoassist. TaylorBiggs,a14—year-old freshman from TwinFalls High School, waswearing a helmet. Othereventsleadinguptotheac-cidentareunknown.Medi-calpersonnelperformedlifesavingmeasuresandwereabletoreviveher.Shewasflown to Boise where sheunfortunatelysuccumbedtoherinjuries. The Soldier MountainSkiAreaaswellasthere-spondingagencieswishtoconveytheircondolencestoherfamilyandfriends.
