NEWSLETTERAs you all may have noticed, West’s Coaches have been undergoing manychanges since they were bought in 2012.
Officially, in August 2014 Dan’s Luxury Travel and West’s Coaches havebecome one company. Not only does this mean together, we are the largestschool coach operators in the UK, but it also allows us to fund new coaches, exciting excursions, advertising and new-style brochures.
Since 2012, Day Tours were something Dan’s Luxury Travel had neverundertaken before, we have done our very best to carry on the traditionalyearly excursions Bob West used to run, but at the same time add new andexciting trips throughout the year, also taking suggestions from our trip-goersinto consideration for our new brochures.
Unfortunately, some of your suggestions we have received are not possible torun as Day Trips due to the recent cap on Driver’s working hours. Looking intothe future, we may consider running overnight stays and 3-5 day excursionsdepending on the success of our new-style brochure. We have a newly refurbished office where all your bookings are taken on a new computer system; it took us some getting used to! However, a great improvement fromthe old-style hand written ticket books!
You are still welcome to come into our offices at any time to buy your tickets.Amber and Sarah, whom I am sure you have spoken to on the phone take allthe bookings for the day tours and will help you in every way they can.
“I am extremely pleased that we have been able to continue running the West’sCoaches Day Tours and that their customers have continued to book with usas they have been since 1949”.
