Even SuperMODELs have to wear many hats…
Catholic by faith and example
“God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, or sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way. If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.”
Loving Daughter
“All children must look after their own upbringing. Parents can only give good advice or put them on the right paths, but the final forming of a person's character lies in their own hands.” - Anne Frank
Dependable Sister
“Having a sister is like having a best friend you can't get rid of. You know whatever you do, they'll still be there. “ - Amy Li
Devoted Aunt
“You can learn many things from children. How much patience you have, for instance.” - Franklin P. Jones
Inspiring Account Manager
“You do your best work if you do a job that makes you happy.” - Bob Ross
Responsible Student
“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” – Nelson Mandela

7 HABITS OF HIGHLY EFFECTIVE PEOPLE by Stephen R. Covey
1. Be Proactive- I recognize that the decisions I make define the life that I live.
2. Begin with the End in Mind- I live each day constantly trying to be the person I have decided I want to
become.
3. Put First Things First- I accept that I cannot be/do everything at once. I prioritize my activities based
on their ability to contribute to my life’s purpose.
4. Think Win-Win- In everything I do, I strive to make life better not just for me, but for everyone
around me.
7 HABITS OF HIGHLY EFFECTIVE PEOPLE by Stephen R. Covey
5. Seek first to understand, then to be understood- I will endeavor to be a better listener so that I could relate better with
the people around me.
6. Synergize- I will try to inspire others to pursue excellence through example and
encourage collaboration and teamwork.
7. Sharpen the Saw- I will strive to live a well-balanced life and have a positive impact on the
world.
8 PRINCIPLES OF NURSINGby The Royal College of Nursing

not I agree/disagree with them.
2. Take responsibility for the care you provide and answer for your own judgments and actions
- I will always make the decisions I can live with and be prepared to be accountable for the outcomes.
8 PRINCIPLES OF NURSINGby The Royal College of Nursing
3. Manage risk, be vigilant about risk and help to keep everyone safe
- I will not be afraid to think outside the box and go against the norm, but at the same time be ready to take responsibility for my actions and decisions.
4. Provide and promote care that puts people at the center- In everything I do, I I will put premium on my
relationships more than material possessions.
8 PRINCIPLES OF NURSINGby The Royal College of Nursing
5. Be at the heart of the communication process- I will endeavor to better express, explain, listen
and understand without bias and judgment.
6. Have up-to-date knowledge and skills and use these with intelligence, insight and understanding
- I will never rest on my laurels and always recognize that there is room for improvement.
8 PRINCIPLES OF NURSINGby The Royal College of Nursing
7. Work closely with a team and with other professionals- I will trust the capability and judgment of others, and recognize that
better things could be achieved through teamwork.
8. Lead by example, develop oneself and other staff- I will always aspire for excellence and encourage others to do the
same by being an inspiration to them.

Life is a Catwalk
As a SuperMODEL, I know that I have accomplished my goal if by doing what I do, I am able to inspire others to believe in themselves and be confident. Today, I may no longer be practicing nursing as a profession, but I know that I will always be a nurse at heart. By excelling in a field that I have had no formal training/education for, I aim to inspire others that nothing is impossible if you put your heart to it. One just has to trust God that no matter where life leads him/her, He will always be there as a guide.
