December 23-25, 2018 “ The Lord himself will give you this sign: the Virgin shall be with Child,
and bear a son, and shall names him Immanuel.” -Isaiah 7:14
I would like to wish all our parishioners, your family, friends and all visitors a Holy and LOVE inspired Christmas with Jesus and the Holy Family.
May this New Year bring a strong revelation of God’s love for you; that will inspire you and your loved ones to give themselves more completely and
totally to following Christ as His True Disciple.

Have you considered hosting the
NET Missionaries?
We are blessed to have our NET missionaries for a third year and we are now looking for
new host families for January 2019 to May 2019.
Missionaries are hosted in pairs and host families are responsible for the food during the 2- week period that
the missionaries are placed in your home.
Below are a few testimonies of people who have recently hosted the NET Missionaries:
“It was truly a Blessing and a Pleasure to have Emma and Jules spend time with me and my Cockatiel Rocco during Thanksgiving break. I could not have asked for a
better way to spend my time off. These two ladies brought a new level of peace and tranquility to my home. God
Bless them and the entire Net Team.”
“We all really enjoyed having you guys stay with us. We appreciate and admire what you guys are doing
and the sacrifice you are making. You definitely made an impact on the four of us. Hope you enjoy
the rest of your journey.”
We want to share this wonderful opportunity with you so that you too may experience the blessing of these young missionaries and the positive impact that they can have
in the lives of your families.
To host members of the NET Team or if you have any questions, please contact the
Parish Office at 772-461-2233.

St. Anastasia Church and School Capital Campaign News
Our parish has been blessed with a long and rich history since its conception. For more than a century, St. Anastasia Church and School have been providing spiritual and educational
leadership. It is time, though, that we update the buildings and grounds that have served us so well. These plans provide for liturgical enhancements to our church, more welcoming
facilities and a healthy and safe environment for all who worship and learn at St. Anastasia Catholic Church and School. We are asking you to support our community’s first joint capital
campaign that will benefit our whole campus. We ask for your prayerful support for a successful campaign and your generous commitment of time, talent and treasure. We know
that our campaign slogan of “Together: sharing our faith, achieving our dreams” will have long-lasting effects as we reach out to the community with our stewardship ministry
On Wednesday,
October 24th we had a successful kick off to our Capital Campaign with a Prayer Service in the Church followed by a
reception in the Parish Center.
As of today, we have currently raised over $360,000 in donations, pledges and
In-Kind donations.
Thank you for the generous support thus far from our Parish & School Community.
All contributions, from the smallest to the
largest, are gratefully appreciated.
The renovation and expansion of our Church & School includes: • Church roof, ceiling and skylight repair • Parish Center roof repairs • New heating & air conditioning • Exterior painting of all buildings • Hurricane windows and/or shutters on all buildings • New flooring for church • Renovate administrative offices & lobby • New church pews • Renovation and expansion of sanctuary • School bathroom renovations • New signage at 33rd Street & Delaware • Renovation & upgrades to school cafeteria & kitchen • Prayer gazebo and brick paver walkway/garden • Resurfacing parking lot with improved drainage
Ways to Support Our Capital Campaign:
• Attend a campaign event or one of our neighborhood receptions
• Responding to the Parish mailing with a pledge or donation
• Making a pledge or donation through Faith Direct online giving.
• Pray for the success of the campaign • Be an ambassador for St. Anastasia. Share this information with as many people as you can, encouraging them to get involved.
It is your act of involvement that will make this campaign a success.

Capital Campaign Repairs are Underway!!!
Gantt Builders, LLC, the Diocese of Palm Beach, Sea Coast Air-Conditioning and Richmond Electric will begin working on our overdue roof project on January 14, 2019. We plan to have this project completed before
Easter 2019, God willing (please pray). The upcoming deadline of our insurance claim was the driving factor for our construction timeline. The reason our roof project is so complicated, is because we have four multi-level roofs
that includes two skylights. The scope of work is as follows (this is a partial list):
1. The skylight over the church narthex has a design flaw causing major exterior and interior damage. The extent of the damage will be unknow until the roof itself is pulled up. Due to an original design flaw, the lower roof accommodating the narthex skylight, will have to be redesigned. This lower roof redesign will include: hurricane and water protection of our art stained glass around the lower roof level, a solid concrete roof in place of the narthex skylight and higher concrete curbing up to the art stain glass windows to avoid future water damage in the walls.
2. Drywall and ceiling work will have to be done in the narthex to complete phase one of the church renovation. Thus, scaffolding and temporary walls/petition will be erected in the church narthex for your safety and access to the bathrooms. The liturgies will not be interrupted during the renovation of the roof. Praise God.
3. In addition to the narthex work, the other three roof levels will receive new roofing material, providing us with another 25 plus years of protection.
4. Through the generosity of Sea Coast Air-Conditioning - John & Dana Langel & Pat & Barbara Langel - our parish will be gifted all New AC Units for the entire church. 5. The replacement of the existing skylight over the main sanctuary (the final phase of this project), will take place this summer.
In January, we look forward to reporting additional campaign developments that will be coming up as a result of generous in-kind gifts to our church and school list of capital improvement needs.
Thank you all for your prayerful and financial support to our Joint Capital Campaign.
Below are images of the interior water damage and exterior roof damage to our Church.
