James Cousins Coming from an engineering family, JamesCousins has always been fascinated by anytype of machine, large or small. The naturaland industrial landscapes of the Midlands have also been of great inspiration, which is reflected in much of his work.
Over the past few years James has beenexploring derelict industrial sites, oftenunusual, and unseen by many.
His images show how our endeavours andneeds have shaped the landscape around us,and how nature begins to take it back when we abandon it. These photographs are animportant document of our heritage as wemove into the post industrial age.

Keith Wright Keith Wright’s images are based on naturallyoccurring marks and patterns he encounters in everyday life. In this series the markings areisolated out of context. The viewer’s attentionis focussed in on abstract shapes, colours anddesign. The original images have been closelycropped, grouped and composed not only tocreate a visually interesting piece, but also to ensure that the original source is notimmediately obvious. As a result he invokes a sense of curiosity and hopes to inspire theviewer to look for their own discoveries outside of the gallery environment.

Paul JohnstonePaul is a self-taught painter who is interestedin work that is ambient and contemplative. When he paints he makes abstract pieces thatreflect his response to the natural world.
Paul aims to create a space where he can losehimself in the paints colour, texture, depth, and detail.
He prefers to paint without prior sketches, starting from a notion of mood or colour but leaving the rest to instinct.
Paul’s work aims to incorporate theprimitivism of mark making with a certainromantic drama which allows viewers to return to pictures time after time.
