The Wendt and Mayor’s Arts Awards Thursday, February 13, 2020, 6pm - 8:30p, Everett Performing Arts Center, 2710 Wetmore Ave. WE'RE A BIG DEAL!! This year, the Delta neighborhood will be recognized for our work in creating a vibrant community through the arts. PLEASE JOIN US ON THIS SPECIAL NIGHT. Award recipients also include Richard Porter, Delta neighbor and author and storyteller. Event starts at 6 pm for a social hour of evening bites and no-host bar. The program will begin at 7 pm. The event is free and open to everyone. No RSVP required. Delta Neighborhood Association Monthly Meeting Tuesday, February 17, 2020, 7:00pm - 8:30pm. Baker Community Center, 1401 Poplar St. Don’t miss this meeting! Our special guest speaker is Everett Housing Authority. They will update us on the Baker Heights property. Also on the February agenda: DNA Officer Elections Arborfest planning Looking ahead - Future DNA meetings: March 17, 2020, 7 pm. Our guest speaker will be Everett School District. May 19, 2020, 7 pm. Riverside neighborhood will be joining us for our annual Mayor’s visit. Do 1 Thing Do one thing a month for emergency preparedness. February’s “thing” is Water. Our public safety chair, Arleigh will give a short presentation at the meeting on this month’s theme. Senator Henry Jackson Park, 1700 State St Join the Delta Neighborhood Association in a celebration of trees and spring at this FREE, family-friendly community event. Enjoy planting trees and seeds, makings arts and crafts, and learning about trees and gardening. Confirmed activities include: Imagine Children’s Museum Everett Public Library reading tent Everett Parks Horticulture planting station Bird feeding crafts Rock painting crafts Learning presentations from the Master Gardeners, city of Everett Street Tree
