FINANCIAL YEAR 2019-20
Dhanishta Foundation Annual Report 2019-20
Dhanishta expended 63.28 lakhs during the financial year 2019-20 for
various charitable activities with the funds flowing in from patrons, charity
lovers and other like-minded people. Briefly the charitable activities are
enumerated here under
Food Distribution -
Food distribution to the poor and the needy is the priority for Dhanishta. It
responds to the needs of the poor wherever it is noticed or brought to
attention. “To reach the unreachable” is the motto of Dhanishta.
Food is distributed daily to the poor who gather around temples and
churches and to those who live on the pavements. Food is also distributed in
differently abled children schools, and in institutions where Vedic
educations is imparted.
During the year Dhanishta Foundation has expended Rs. 8,74,271/- for the
food distribution.
Educational Assistance -
Educational needs of the poor but meritorious are attended to at
Anantapur, Rajahmundry, Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam.
Assistance is given based on merit. Assistance is also given to buy school
bags, shoes and textbooks and to pay school fees. The range, of students
that are helped, is from elementary education to post graduation.
Further, Dhanishta during the year has started a noble activity of adopting
25 differently abled children maintained and trained by Campus Challenge, a
residential school specially run for differently abled children. Dhanishta has
adopted an entire block which accommodates 25 children of financially
weak background. Dhanishta also sponsored their education and medical
expenses.
During the year Dhanishta Foundation expended Rs.11,07,283/-. Details of
assistance provided are as under:
➢ 34 students pursuing education in various schools and colleges in
Visakhapatnam were given scholarships.
➢ 1200 school bags were distributed to the students of 10 Municipal
schools around Rajahmundry.
➢ 5 students from class 6th to 10th studying in Sri Potti Sri Ramulu High
School, Anantapuram, were given scholarships. Further 5 ex-students
of Sri Potti Sri Ramulu Municipal High School pursuing their graduation
were given scholarships.
➢ 10 students who are meritorious were given assistance from
Balabhanu Vidyalayam, Srikakulam.
➢ Physio equipment has been donated to IERT Bhavita Centre,
Chodavaram.
➢ 25 differently abled children of financial weak background have been
adopted to take care of their accommodation, food, education and
clothing.
➢ 5 children at Desire Society, Visakhapatnam have been sponsored.
➢ Aided the construction of faculty facility in Department of Commerce
& Accounts, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on request.
Marripudi Village Project –
Marripudi is a village near to the Bapatla. At this place following service
activities are being carried out:
• A poly clinic is maintained free of cost to enable villagers from 5
villages to receive medical aid in terms of Allopathy, Homeopathy and
Ayurveda.
• Food distribution is done to the old citizens in the Marripudi Village
on every Monday and Thursday of the week.
During the year Rs.72,646/- was expended by Dhanishta Foundation for this
project.
Assistance to senior citizens –
Old-age homes at Visakhapatnam and Ponnur assisted to provide food and
other facilities to the poor and the destitute on a regular basis.
This year Dhanishta Foundation has expended Rs. 1,80,000/- for this cause.
Assistance to Animal Protection –
During the year Dhanishta foundation has set up a new cow protection
centre, ‘Kamadhenu’ at Chinna Tekkali village with the help and cooperation
of Sri U. Ch B Varma, a philanthropist of the village. 30 Cows are provided
shelter, fodder and care.
Further Dhanishta has provided fodder to 73 Cows maintained at
Kamadhenu Gosamrakshan Kendram, Rajahmundry.
During the year for the cause of Cow, Dhanishta has spent Rs. 9,50,946/-.
Community Hall construction at Bellary –
Dhanishta has expended Rs. 5,00,000/- towards the construction of
Community Hall at Bellery to facilitate health, education, social and cultural
activities.
Vedic Education –
Dhanishta assists Vedic education by providing maintenance allowance on
per capita basis to Vedic students. An institution that imparts Vedic
education is regularly assisted by Dhanishta viz, Bharadwaja Veda Patasala.
During the year Rs. 2,13,330/- was expended by Dhanishta Foundation.
Women Empowerment –
Dhanishta collaborates with Swami Jnanananda Youth skills development
organization to empower women at the village and rural level. Regular
tailoring training programs are organized for the benefit of women at
Majjivalasa Village, Visakhapatnam.
During the year Rs. 42,000/- was utilized for the empowerment of the
women.
Computer education to the blind –
Dhanishta collaborates with the Alumni of Rao and Kumar chartered
accountants and annually provides scholarships to the blind to learn
computer operation and programming skills at a special computer education
school run by Vision Aid, a national level reputed charitable organization.
Dhanishta has utilized Rs. 100,000/- for the cause, at the instance of the
alumni, whose funds are maintained by Dhanishta.
Financial Assistance –
Financial assistance is given to a family that runs a tea stall at
Madhurawada, near Prasanna Anjaneya Temple. During the year Dhanishta
has expended Rs. 76,970/- for this cause.
Wisdom Teaching and Training –
Dhanishta organizes regular meditation sessions, wisdom teaching sessions
and ritualism to enable self-development. It operates the above activity in a
place named and styled “Wisdom Teaching Temple”.
Rs. 1,45,587/- was expended for the Wisdom Teaching Temple by Dhanishta
Foundation for this purpose.
Self-transformation program –
A Self-transformation program is organized to rhythmize all age groups for
their constructive use of time and energy. As many as a hundred thousand
persons are trained in this regard so far. A rhythmic utterance of a sacred
seed sound and writing is imparted for this purpose.
During the year Dhanishta has expended Rs. 2,72,000/- for this divine cause.
Clothes Distribution –
Dhanishta distributes clothing to the poor as also warm clothing to the poor
and the needy.
Dhanishta has expended Rs. 26,800/- toward, 240 rugs which were
distributed t the destitute who live on the roadside in Visakhapatnam.
Further towards distribution of clothes and sarees to the destitute,
Foundation has expended Rs. 1,34,981/- during the year.
Medical Assistance –
Financial assistance is offered to facilitate treating the poor by way of free
distribution of medicines and by way of facilitating transportation to the
physicians who work on charitable basis.
Dhanishta expended Rs 26,398/- for the cause.
Dhanishta has able coordinators to fulfill these activities besides certain staff
to whom allowances are given.
Dhanishta organizes a charity centre in the ancestral house of the Mentor at
Bapatla, where Homeo medicines, food and clothing are distributed to the
poor by a team of coordinators with their own expenses. Dhanishta
acknowledges their spirit of service and thanks them in this regard.
Charitable activities conducted at Bengaluru-
With the Blessings of Master K. Parvathi Kumar garu and Amma garu, under
the able guidance of Sri Rama Prasad Joshi, vibrant charitable activities are
being conducted by Dhanishta with a team of young technocrat’s software
engineers and doctors. Details of the activities are:
1. At the following schools to encourage the students, Dhanishta has
organized annual prizes and a certificate of merit to the toppers of
Class 8, 9 and 10. A rolling shield in the name of Master K Parvathi
Kumar has also been presented to the toppers of Class 10.

Kolar.
c. Government High School at Devalapura.
d. Government High School at Bheemanabeedu village near
Gundlpet.

2. Scholarships have been given to 12 financially weak but meritorious
students studying in classes 8-10.
3. Dhanishta has conducted NATIONAL YOUTH DAY CELEBRATIONS At
BHEEMANABEEDU in association with GK Club of Bheemanabeedu to
inspire the youth by presenting the life and teachings of Sri Swami
Vivekananda. A procession was also carried out holding the placards
depicting the sayings and teaching of Swami Vivekananda.
4. Dhanishta has organized a seminar to impart study techniques to the
school students at Sri Vivekananda Graamantara Paatashaala.
5. Dhanishta organized a Seminar on Personality Development at Shree
Jnanbharati English Medium School, Attibele, Anekal Taluk.

National Youth Day Celebrations
Dhanishta Publication:
The Wisdom teachings coming from Master K Parvathi Kumar are printed on
public demand and are distributed at subsidized cost. The wisdom coming
through the Master is universal and is globally accepted. It is printed in
Indian and European languages. Dhanishta is the custodian of the teaching
works of Master KPK.
Soft copies of Dhanishta Books are made available to the readers free of
cost at www.dhanishta.org. All over the globe the readers regularly
download the books on various wisdom topics. So far Dhanishta has
published around 180 books.
This year Dhanishta Foundation has expended around Rs.11,81,076/-
towards the publication of the books coming from the pen of Master KPK.

Thanksgiving -
The donors increasingly contribute to Dhanishta for charitable activities on
account of the inspiration they find in the Mentor of Dhanishta Sri K Parvathi
Kumar garu. Dhanishta has vibrant team of coordinators who help fulfilling
the much-cherished charitable activity. All the supporters and donors
constitute the lifeline for the activity. Dhanishta is ever grateful to each
and every one of them to whom this report will be sent in token of our
appreciation of their services.
Gratitude -
Dhanishta is growing in fulfilling the social cultural and spiritual needs
of the society for which benign guidance comes from the mentor
couple, Mother K Krishna Kumari and Master K Parvathi Kumar.
