CONSIDER A BEQUEST OR A PLANNED GIFT TO THE LIFE AND WORK OF THE UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST
From the days of the Amistad Defense Fund, members of the United Church of Christ and its predecessor bodies have made gifts and bequests to the church. Most of our current national and world-wide ministry has been made possible by such generous support.
Bequests may be made to the Conference with or without designation. The language that follows is for unrestricted gifts; if you wish to designate a gift for one or more specific purposes, please contact Joy Davis at the Conference Office for further information: 510- 247-8995
Unrestricted Gift I give, devise, and bequeath to the Northern California Nevada Conference of the United Church of Christ, a nonprofit religious corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of California, or its successor, the sum of dollars to be used for the general purposes of said corporation.
Specific Percentage I give, devise, and bequeath to the Northern California Nevada Conference of the United Church of Christ, a nonprofit religious corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of California, or its successor, an amount equal to percent of the value of my estate at the date of my death.
Residual Bequest I give, devise, and bequeath all of the residue of my estate, both real and personal, to the Northern California Nevada Conference of the United Church of Christ, a nonprofit religious corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of California.
Contingent Bequest If any of the above named beneficiaries should predecease me, then I hereby give, devise, and bequeath that share of my estate to the Northern California Nevada Conference of the United Church of Christ, a nonprofit religious corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of California.

As the Northern California Nevada Conference of the United Church of Christ, we belong to one another. This “belonging” is our Covenant with one another.
Our common purpose is stated in our Mission Statement.
CONFERENCE COVENANT We are people of God, a community of congregations diverse in our ethnicity, culture and lifestyle. We are the Northern California Nevada Conference, United Church of Christ.
We covenant with God and each other to worship God through Word and Sacrament, to proclaim to all the world the Gospel of Jesus Christ through deed and word, to be open to the movement of the Spirit in our midst.
We covenant with God and each other to speak of our dreams and visions, to share our resources, to draw strength from one another in the work of ministry.
We covenant with God and each other to affirm our journey together, in our diversity, for justice, peace and healing, throughout all of God’s creation, to grow with one another, building our future out of past memories and present hopes.
We covenant with God and each other to love and support one another, to listen to and learn from one another, to forgive and trust one another, to pray for and with one another, to answer God’s call to be the body of Christ.

Camp Tamarack
Camp Tamarack P.O. Box 128 Shaver Lake, CA 93664
From Hwy 99 south, go most of the way through Fresno and take the Highway 180 (Mendota – Kings Canyon – Exit 133B) exit on the right. Take the Highway 168 East (Clovis – Huntington Lake – Exit 60A) exit on the right. Currently, the freeway turns into a standard highway at a stoplight just after Clovis. Keep going straight on Highway 168. You will pass the gas station and market (Canyon Fork Center) in Prather at about 19.4 mile after the stop light and then come to a stop sign about 2.7 miles beyond the gas station. Turn Left at the stop sign. You will come to Shaver Lake village about 15 miles after the stop sign (or about 37 miles after the stop light at the end of the freeway) and then the marina on Shaver lake about 4.5 miles after the village. From the marina, continue another 8.5 miles (or about 49.5 miles after the stop light at the end of the freeway) to the Camp Tamarack sign (right next to the Red Mountain Off Road Area sign) on the right just after crossing over Tamarack Creek (if you get to the Tamarack Lodge sign, you’ve gone about 200 feet too far). Turn Right at the Camp Tamarack sign and follow the dirt road just over a mile to the Camp Tamarack driveway on the right (there’s a small sign at the driveway). Turn Right and park when you see the lodge building.

Camp Cazadero
Camp Cazadero 22175 King Ridge Road Cazadero, CA 95421
First, head to Guerneville. You can either take Hwy 116 from Cotati through Sebastopol, or River Road on the north side of Santa Rosa. From the intersection of Hwy 116 and River Road in Guerneville (the stop light at the north side of the Russian River bridge): Drive West (towards the coast) through Guerneville on River Road/Hwy 116 (they become the same). In about 4 miles, you’ll come to the stop sign in Monte Rio. Stay to the right on Hwy 116. About 3 miles from Monte Rio, you’ll see a green highway sign that says “Cazadero” pointing right. Turn Right onto Cazadero Hwy. You’ll come to the town of Cazadero in about 6 miles. Just drive through town. The road forks at a stop sign about 0.2 beyond white church at the the north end of town. Take the Right Fork, King Ridge Road (there should be a sign that says “UCCR Camp Cazadero” with an arrow pointing up King Ridge Road). In about half a mile, you’ll come to a "T" in the road. A yellow and black highway sign points right (as does another "UCCR Camp Cazadero" sign). Follow the arrow and Turn Right (still King Ridge Road). Continue on King Ridge Road about 3.9 miles to the turn-off to Camp Cazadero (there should be a green “UCCR Camp Cazadero” sign pointing to the left. Turn Left onto the gravel road. Drive about 2 miles up to Camp Cazadero!
