Ensure the student has a supervisor who they can work with throughout the semester
2 Orientation
Conduct a short orientation to ensure the student understands the office culture projects and expectations
3 Provide Feedback
Like any new employee provide regular feedback to help the student learn and improve their performance
4 Work-term Consultation
During the work-term you will be asked to evaluate the studentrsquos progress in their role This consultation also allows for an in-person visit or a phone call
