Select "Continue your adventure"from the Adventure Log Menu, thenchoose a log from the list to resumeyour adventure from the point youlast saved (→p. 8).

8 Finishing Your Adventure
Make a confessionin a church (→p.10) to record yourprogress in anadventure log. Ifyou choose to save your progress ina slot that already contains anadventure log, that log will beoverwritten.
After recording your progress in anadventure log, pre thentouch "Close" to exit the software.Alternatively, you can exit thesoftware directly after saving yourprogress.
● Do not repeatedly reset thesystem or intentionally inputincorrect controls. Do not removeany Game Card/SD card insertedinto the system while saving.Make sure not to get dirt in theterminals. These actions couldresult in permanent data loss.
● Do not use external accessoriesor software to modify your savedata, as this can lead to aninability to progress or loss ofsave data. Any modification ispermanent, so be careful.

9 Exploring Towns and Castles
You can use and to rotate thecamera angle 360 degrees aroundthe leader of your party. When youlook at the world from a differentangle, who knows what you mightfind?
Travel around the world and speakto the people in the towns andcastles you come across to gatherthe clues you need to progress inyour adventure.

When you cross agreen line on theworld map, you willmove to a differentarea.

Flying Carpet
This carpet fliesthrough the air,crossing shallowsand bridges thatthe ship cannot,and keeping the party out of themonsters’ reach all the while. Jumponto the carpet by selecting it fromthe Items Menu (→p. 16), andchoosing "Use". To jump off, press or while over level ground. Youcannot jump off the flying carpetwhen it is over mountainous terrainor over water.
13 Tablet Fragments
This forgottentemple liessomewhere onEstard Island andseems to havesome connection to the mysteriousstone fragments. Bring the tabletfragments you find back to theShrine of Mysteries and see whathappens!
Once you havefound your wayinside the Shrine ofMysteries, speak tothe host of theAssembly Room to take a look atthe pillars or ask for guidance.

23 The Flow of Battle

24 Battle Commands
Issue this command to attack eitherbare-handed or using the weaponwith which the party member iscurrently equipped. Depending onthe weapon used, the attack mayinflict damage on a single enemy, agroup of enemies or even all of theenemies at once.
Attack
Use MP to cast spells that damagethe enemy or strengthen allies.
Spells
Use a special ability that the partymember has learned. Some abilitiesconsume MP.
Abilities
Use an item or piece of equipment inthe party member’s possession, orchange the items they haveequipped. Items that are in the bagcannot be accessed during battle.
Items
Issue commands to the members ofyour party to fight the enemy. If aparty member is assigned a tacticother than "Follow Orders", they willautomatically select an action thatsuits their tactics.

Defend

25 Taking a Vocation

29 Sharing Tablets
Put together a party of threemonsters (one leader and twocompanions) from the residents ofMonster Meadows and send them tosearch for traveller’s tablets on yourbehalf.
Take a look at the traveller’s tabletsyour monster friends have found. IfStreetPass is activated, you can alsoreceive traveller’s tablets from otherplayers.

Traveller’s tablets will automaticallybe shared when you are nearanother player who has alsoactivated StreetPass for this game.♦ This feature will be unlocked as
