1.3 Display Operation
1.3.1 Display on / off Manually Turn on: Turn on the main power switch then IPC will power on.
Turn off: Turn off the power switch of the IPC.
NOTE: If the operating system crashes, please press reset button to restart the IPC and then press power
switch again.
1.3.2 Display on / off Automatically
You can preset on and off for the display and IPC at a certain time through the software application. When the
preset time is up, the display will be powered on automatically, and the IPC will be triggered to power itself on too. If
you have preset the item of startup in the software application, the content of the assigned schedule or external
multimedia device will be played automatically. (Refer to the software manual for details)
NOTE: The main power switch must be always on.

1.3.3 IPC Operation You can use LCM panel to operate the IPC without keyboard and mouse.
1.3.4 Put / Change Contents Insert Flash Media card*1,such as MS/MS PRO, SmartMedia, CF/MicroDrive and SD/MMC, into 8-in-1 Card
Reader for content playing.
*1 Not include a Flash Media card.

Steps
1. Save contents to a Flash Media card. (Media files must put in the root directory when you use LCM playing.)
2. Insert media card into the 8-in-1 card reader.
3. Choose the control item “Player Control”.
4. Choose the sub-menu “File Source”.
5. Select”All Content” to play the all media.

1.3.5 Spin Speed Setting The spin speed of the display images. The more “X” is the faster it spins.
Steps
1. Choose the control item “Monitor System”.
2. Press Up to increase, or Down to decrease. “Fixed” means to stop spinning.

2 Function / Maintenance Introduction 2.1 AP3 Quick Operation 2.1.1 Start Program To activate AP3, click “START/Programs/ DynaScan AP3/DSPlayer to Start. Normally, the AP3 is running if PC
power on when your computers are from DynaScan. Double click and AP3 will be restored.

5. Click to select schedule editing. 6. Set the Media type as Sequence File.
7. Drag the editing file as following picture.

9. Drag the file to the box and editing schedule.

2.1.4 Edit Layout Presetting Layout AP3 provides seven layout settings. Click the layout you want, AP3 will load the layout into the editing section and
you can start to edit. The Preset layouts are undeletable.
Content Setting There is no content for newly made layout frames. If you do not assign any content to one frame, it will display a
black ground when playing. Click Start Run button to summon the Startup Run Setup window, and then assign
the content and the description of this content. The content with parameters to adjust will show the button beside description, and you can click it to setup.

2.1.5 Image Spin Speed Select the spin speed of the image(s) on the display screen. It is a drop-down list, and the options cannot be
changed, 8 Sec, 16 Sec, -- to 120 Sec. The 8 Sec. means the drum image takes 8 seconds to rotate a round. The
default setting is “Fixed”. This means that image(s) is displayed on the screen in a fixed position. You can choose
any of them to fit your needs.

2.2 Lift and Move 2.2.1 Lifted by Lift Aided Steel Rope Step 1. Take out the eyebolt (M10) x 3 pcs from the accessories box.
Step 2. Unscrew the six inner screws as shown below.

3.3 AP3 Default Settings

VMR9_RL Frame Reversal Disable It's necessary to check it when you'd like to display a upside down content. Select VMR9_RL as accelerator and close it. Reopen AP3 to enable the setting.
Content in Sequence Preload User Define To shorten the blank interval between clips. It only supports Media File, Capture & Picture. Accelerator VMR9 _ WL supports this function.

Forcefully turn ON or OFF the display power.
After Power off, you can’t power on the display until six minutes later.
This is for the safety reason. However you can power on the display
before the countdown is due by pressing the “Force Power On”.
Warning: “Force Power On” may cause damage to the display. Please
don’t press the button unless you are sure that the display is
completely stop operating.
Outside Power Off Enable Disable
Check the checkbox to enable the setting. When the IPC is turned off
by any way except the shutdown time, such as pressing the Power
button. IPC will shut the display as well.

3.5 Disposal Notices
Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste,
use separate collection facilities. Contact your local government for
information regarding the collection systems available. If electrical
appliances are disposed of in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances
