Project Portfolio Management
DTMB has leveraged Changepoint data on the world wide web through Changepoint:
• Information Technology (IT) Investment Fund Portfolio – A report to display projects that are currently in the IT Investment Fund– http://www.michigan.gov/openmichigan/0,4648,7-266-58520_63185---,00.html
• Michigan Legacy Application Modernization Planning – Captures projects that will replace or rewrite an application that is based on outdated, old or unsupported technologies.– http://www.michigan.gov/openmichigan/0,4648,7-266-58520_63482---,00.html
Request Management
DTMB not only uses requests within Project Management but also stand alone to capture Operational Demand:
• Changepoint Support Requests (SUPT) – Capture questions and issues associated with the Changepoint application itself.
• Work Requests (CSR) – Capture smaller demand items coming from Agency and DTMB resources that have a lower level of complexity and/or duration.
• IS Work Requests (ISR) – Used for I&O processing of incoming work to provide status, and plan for resource demand and Agency priorities.
