We have built a team to make sure that we can deliver on this promise.
EDP strives to attain a level of performance above industry standard for league and tournament administrators. EDP offers clubs a strong
competitive league bracket with minimal travel, developmentally-appropriate opposition and a maximum average goal differential of 2.0.
The goal of the league is to provide a ‘Good Game Every Week’ in order to maintain elite performance standards amongst young players
from U9-U23.

VISIONThe goal of EDP Foundation is to enable young soccer players to reach their full potential on and off the field, with an emphasis on college or other educational opportunities, by providing a full range of the highest quality soccer related experiences. We aim to empower each player by creating connections that help them to acheive their collegiate goals. The EDP Foundation delivers opportunities for EDP Clubs, coaches, parents, and players by:
• Providing access and connections to college for all young athletes, regardless of circumstance
• Raising awareness among young athletes considering a career in soccer after high school
• Educating young athletes of their collegiate opportunities, as well as the advantages of earning a college degree

EDP LEAGUE STRUCTUREEDP is pleased to offer a wide range of competitive league play throughout the calendar year in line with developmentally appropriate practices. All EDP leagues are flighted based on competitive age and profile ensuring games are fair, equal and played in a competitive spirit. We focus on delivering a good game every week and maintaining the high level of the league.

EDP NPL
EDP offers an NPL division. Winners on the boys side will compete in the ENPL National Finals.
Winners on the girls side will qualify for NPL finals. NPL is a club v. club league.
EDP 1ST & 2ND DIVISION EDP 1st and 2nd Division is the top tier of the EDP league schematic offering top teams the
chance to compete amongst each other in one of the toughest leagues in the region. Teams will be
bracketed appropriately based on their competitive level with promotion and relegation between
EDP premier and EDP.
PREMIER
EDP Premier is the 2nd tier of the EDP league schematic. Teams will be bracketed appropriately
based on their competitive profile with promotion and relegation within EDP Premier, between EDP
Premier and EDP, and between EDP Premier and EDP Championship.
CHAMPIONSHIP
EDP Championship is the 3rd tier of the EDP league schematic. Teams will be bracketed
appropriately based on their competitive profile with promotion and relegation between EDP premier
and Championship. This is designed for competitive teams looking to play more locally.
BECOME AN EDP SUPER CLUB
• Super clubs commit to entering all eligible teams into EDP
• Has a track record of developing players over the long-term that progress to college or other post youth play, and this
developmental goal takes precedence over commercial interests or winning in the short term
• Actively supports EDP College Showcases and College ID Initiatives
• Professional D.O.C to whom all coaches report and all coaches qualified through USSF or NSCAA licensing
• Responsive and decision-empowered primary contact to liaise in both directions with EDP on behalf of all teams
and the D.O.C.

EDP FUTURES - U7-U10
All league play from U7-U10 will comes under the EDP Futures program.
Clubs have the option to participate in organized league play as well as
developmentally appropriate Futures Festivals.
League: EDP Futures league brackets are bracketed appropriately with
small-sided play in line with U.S Soccer development initiatives. Teams are
organized by geography and competitive level, to give all teams the best
platform for development.
Festivals: EDP Futures Festivals are a series of 4, 5v5, 20-minute
games for U7-U10. Futures Festivals are designed to solidify early skills
development with limited coaching points from the sideline to encourage
confidence, passion and creativity for the game from an early age.
Roster Sizes: Leagues have a maximum of 14 players, and Festivals have a
maximum of 10 players.
EDP U20/U23
Highly-competitive league play with geographical alignments to reduce
travel. EDP offers both men’s and women’s brackets and leagues run in
June and July. Participating teams are eligible for U23 USASA National
Championship and may qualify for Lamar Hunt US Open Cup.
EDP FUTSAL
Futsal is FIFA’s official indoor soccer game designed to improve both
fitness and ball control. EDP offers an eight week Futsal season from
mid-December to the end of February in NJ.
