Higher education
The first university on the territory of Slovakia was the Universitas Istropolitana founded in 1465.Studies at the state and public universities are available free of charge for residents of Slovakia and EU.
Each school must provide at least Stage 1 - Bachelor study programme 3–4 years - title Bachelor (Bc.)Stage 2 lasts 1–3 years:

University of Third Age is an interest-educational institutions, the
establishment in accordance with the concept of lifelong learning in the Slovak Republic
