WELCOME MESSAGE16th EADO CONGRESS
Dear Colleagues,
Due to the Coronavirus crisis the scientific committee, congress presidents and the congress organization decided to organize the 16th EADO Congress as an interactive virtual meeting on October 12th – 14th 2020 CENTRAL EUROPEAN TIME (CET).
Although Lithuania is managing COVID-19 situation quite well, there is a level on uncertainty in Europe with the travel situation. Even thereafter it is unclear that meetings like this can happen in Europe.
The virtual EADO Congress will host an own congress platform with interactive features, a plenary hall, a virtual industrial exhibition, poster exhibition, etc. The sessions will take place live, with virtual presence of the chairperson and the speakers, questions will be possible through a Q&A sessions. The EADO Executive board members will be available onsite to support symposiums and facilitate effective discussions.
As a registered participant you will have access to the on-demand service. You will have the opportunity to discuss live with the chairs and faculty members, or you can follow the sessions and view the presentations afterwards until the end of the year.
With your support we will make this meeting at the highest scientific level.
We look forward to welcoming you ONLINE in October 2020
Prof. Dr. Claus GarbeProf. Dr. Matilda Bylaitė-Bučinskienė

What to Do When Surgery Just Isn’t Going to Cut It
Advanced CSCC:
This activity is supported by an independent medical education grant from Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Sanofi Genzyme.
CUTTING-EDGE INSIGHTSWhile participating in EADO 2020, please join our faculty as they address pressing questions about unresectable cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC). Using real-world patient cases, they will demonstrate how and when to safely incorporate new and emerging immune checkpoint inhibitors into your practice for patients in whom surgery may not be an option.
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVESAfter completing this activity, the clinician should be better able to:• Effectively identify CSCC and assess risk of developing advanced disease• Delineate the safety and efficacy of immunotherapeutic agents for CSCC• Effectively manage immune-mediated adverse reactions associated with the mechanism of action of checkpoint inhibitors• Select therapy for individual patients according to current evidence and guidelines, offering clinical trial enrollment where appropriate

It is thought that, together with GM-CSF,tumour-derived antigens will promote asystemic anti-tumour immune responseand an effector T cell response1
