Trendy Treasures • The Ridgeland Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting for Trendy Treasures, located at 587 Highway 51 in the Oak Place Shopping Center. Owner Beverly Corder opened Trendy Treasures, a consignment shop that features gently used clothing for infants, children, teens, women and men.

Some 300 business leaders and State and City officials filled the Country Club of Jackson, celebrating Ridgeland’s economic growth and development during 2015 and honoring volunteers for their dedicated service to the Chamber and City.

Legendary recording artist Mary Wilson performed a tribute to The Supremes. And award-winning musician Raphael Semmes and the Mississippi Live Ensemble entertained guests during the awards segment of the banquet.

2015 Chamber President Sam Keyes of Butler Snow LLP passed the gavel to 2016 President John Dorsa of State Farm Insurance.

“Our 2016 theme Ridgeland . . . Mississippi’s Model City will place renewed emphasis on helping businesses succeed by offering networking opportunities that encourage our businesses to do business with each other,” Dorsa said.
