1. Print out the necessary pages from the PDF of the appliquè pattern(s).2. Mark the right side of the pattern pieces so you’ll know which direction to lay the pattern on the fabric.3. Lightly spray the wrong side of the pattern pieces with temporary adhesive spray and allow it to set for a few minutes. 4. Place the pattern pieces on the right side of the fabric and carefuly cut them out. PHOTO 15. Sew the placement stitch on you hooped fabcric. PHOTO 26. With the paper still stuck to the right side of the appliqué fabric, spray the wrong side of the fabric with temporary spray adhesive.7. Place the fabric inside the sewing placement stitch so that it matches the stitching line then remove the paper pattern. PHOTO 38. Sew the tackdown. PHOTO 49. Sew the remainder of the design and repeat for any remaining pieces. PHOTO 5

NOTE: The patterns are sized for the designs as they were made. If you resize the design, you will need to resize the pattern the same amount. You can print out the pattern at the normal size then copy it on a copy machine at the changed size, i.e. resize the designs to 80%, resize the printed pattern to 80%.

TIP: When Printing the patterns, make sure that the “Fit to page” option is UNCHECKED in the Print Dialog Box. If this option is checked the printed patterns will not be actual size.

Cutting Instructions Cut all strips first and then use a rotary cutter to cut each strip to the size needed for construction.

Stitch the first color and the applique placement line. Remove the backing from Applique Fuse and Fix and position the

applique piece to cover the placement line. Fuse and Fix is repositionable for perfect placement. Proceed to the tackdown

stitching and complete the design.

Applique and Embroidery Instructions

NOTE: The background fabric is cut larger. Square up and trim blocks to the sizes indicated after embroidery is complete.

Embroidery design information for each block is found on pages 4 - 8.

Iron Applique Fuse and Fix to the wrong side of the applique fabric. Use the appropriate Go! Die to cut each applique or

use the templates provided in the design collection to trace and cut manually.

Cut 8” of fabric and place 4 layers on the die, centered horizontally and vertically. Place the cutting mat on top of the fabric

and push the die, fabric and mat against the roller. Turn the handle until the die goes through the cutter completely. Remove

the mat and excess fabric. Cut strips to size using a rotary cutter according to the instructions in the chart above.

Quilt Assembly

After all blocks are assembled, stitch together in rows and then join the rows. Add the 1½” inner border. Add the outer

side border. Join the corner squares to the outer top and bottom borders to finish the quilt top. Layer backing, batting and

top. Quilt. Bind using your favorite method.
