EVALED RV N How the unit works
9 Dionisio Visintin Marketing Departement Webinar RV N
How does it work? Technology
10
Diagram
a) Energy saving technology based on the mechanical vapor compression MVR
b) Heat transfer with vertical
tubes and natural circulation of the internal fluid based on the different density of the ww in the pipes and boiling chamber.
c) RV N evaporator operates in
batch wise mode: • Complete emptying at the end
of the cycle • Refilling at start of a new cycle
10 Dionisio Visintin Marketing Departement Webinar RV N
How does it work? Start up phase
Start up phase: 1. Blower start-up and
creates vacuum 2. The waste is pumped
through the main heat exchanger to the boiling chamber
3. At minimum level reached, liquid is heated by means of resistors until the evaporation condition and produce vapor
4. Blower and evaporation process start at steady state
11 Dionisio Visintin Marketing Departement Webinar RV N
12
How does it work? Evaporation
Evaporation: 1. Efficient heat recovery
from the distillate through the secondary heat exchanger
2. Evaporation heat recovered into main heat exchanger from vapor condensing on shell side
3. WW pumped into the boiling chamber (controlled by level sensor)
4. Production of vapor and drop separation (distillate quality)
12 Dionisio Visintin Marketing Departement Webinar RV N
How does it work? Distillate circulation
Distillate circulation: 1. Vapor compression by the
blower and temperature rising 2. Latent heat release into main
heat exchanger and condensation
3. Passage through secondary heat exchanger and cooling
4. Collection in a tank and discharge through a pump
13 Dionisio Visintin Marketing Departement Webinar RV N
How does it work? Concentrate discharge
Concentrate discharge: 1. Recirculation within boiler
and main heat exchanger by natural circulation
2. Discharge at reaching of the set concentration (PLC)
3. Automatic discharge by pneumatic pump
