Irvine Police announce Dorner as a suspect in the killings of Monica Quan and her fiancé Keith Lawrence
Discovery of online manifesto posted to Dorner’s Facebook page

Manhunt begins: February 6, 2013 10:30 pm: Man matching Dorner’s description ties 81 year old man in an
attempt to steal a boat; attempt was unsuccessful and man unharmed
February 7th (1:30 am): Two LAPD officers assigned to manifesto targeted persons home, in
Riverside, California chase vehicle believe to be Dorners; shootout begins
One officer grazed in forehead and the other was unharmed
Shortly after; two officers routine patrolling are ambushed at a stop light
One officer is killed; the other critically injured
(5:15 am):
LAPD officers guarding another target person’s home in Los Angeles Suburb of Torrence open fire on truck mistaken for Dorner’s.
Mother and Daughter delivering newspaper wounded
Another vehicle is mistaken in Torrence, a short time after, but no one was harmed
February 7th (Cont.)
(8:30 am):
San Bernardino Police dept. announce investigation of what’s believe to be suspects car near Big Bear Ski area in San Bernardino Mountains
Local schools placed in lockdown
(9:30 am):
Central and Northern Arizona Police Departments alerted; included description of vehicle
(9:40 am):
Naval Base Point Loma in San Diego placed on lockdown; someone reported seeing Dorner; reports later declined
(2:30 pm):
Authorities confirm Dorner’s vehicle as burning vehicle in Bernardino Mountains

Door-to-Door searches performed

Dorner’s home and mother’s home searched; no weapons found and authorities chose to not to inform what was discovered

February 11, 2013 Christopher Dorner charged with murdering of an
officer; also charged with attempted member of 3 other officers; potential death penalty case

February 12, 2013:
Dorner ties two victims Karen an Jim Reynolds in there vacation home in San Bernardino Mountians; flees with their car and left unharmed
• Home suspected to have been hide-out
• Shoot-Out begins in San Bernardino County San Berndino Mountains
• One deputy shot and killed
• Officers’ ordered to smoke Christopher Dorner out of cabin, exchanged gun fire causes cabin to set fire
• Single-shot heard from inside burning cabin
• Hours later charred body discovered
• February 13, 2013 charred body found confirmed to be Christopher Dorners; found wallet and driver’s license
