Thakur Institute of Management Studies and Research (TIMSR), managed by Zagdu Singh Charitable Trust (ZCT),
was established in the year 2002 and today is deemed as one of the best business schools affiliated to Mumbai
University. TIMSR is an unaided and minority institute that conducts post graduate courses in management
education including the full-time course MMS and courses for working executives like MMM, MFM, MIM and
MHRDM affiliated to University of Mumbai and also runs an autonomous PGDM course. All the courses are
approved by AICTE, DTE and Govt. of Maharashtra. With marvelous infrastructure, experienced and innovative
teaching faculty, and modern pedagogical techniques, the institute is acquiring a true global setup.

The classrooms are well equipped with all modernconveniences. They are fully air-conditioned and have allnecessary teaching aids like LCD and Internet facility withLAN supported system for practical teaching. The classroomhas an Interactive Projector that offers multi-user capabilitythat helps to interact with the computer to control, annotateand draw through interactive stylus or fingers .
Learning Resource Center (Library)
Learning resource center (LRC) is well stocked with latesteditions of text books, journals, E-books, reference books,encyclopedia, periodicals, educational CDs, audio and videoCDs spanning the entire spectrum of management subjects.The LRC provides a reference book section along with OPACfacilities to the students which enable online access to thecatalogue with e-resources like ProQuest, J-Gate, ACE andDion Insight.
Computer Laboratory
The institute has excellent computing and hardwareinfrastructure and laboratories. The computer laboratory isequipped with the latest computers with all the requiredsoftware, printers, scanners and high speed ISDN internetconnection. The laboratory has exclusive HCL and DELLhardware and structured networking. It has Wi-fi networkingand server system. We have campus agreement withMicrosoft for all the computer systems.
Auditorium
The state-of-the-art 583-seater auditorium is equipped withmodern lighting and sound system. The sound proofauditorium is the ideal place to organize various corporateevents, institute level activities and inter-institute festivalsand seminars for the students. It also provides an excellentvenue for conducting guest lectures by eminentpersonalities.
Ideation Room
Ideation room is a meeting room on TIMSR campus. Its designis centered on creating a different atmosphere that fostersthe creation of ideas and makes studies a unique experiencefor students. Flexible furniture allows students to create theperfect space and break out at any time, all in the same room.
Study Skill Center
The state-of-the-art, 252-seater and fully airconditioned,Study Skill Centre has presentation screen, Wi-ficonnectivity, wireless microphone and other soundarrangements. It contains 4 large 55” (Hall) & 3 small 32”LED screens (Dias), 2 projector and motorized screens alongwith recording and live streaming facility. It provides the bestaudio-visual facility and presents one of the finest acousticand visual settings for seminars, discussions, workshops andall training and development related activities.
Recreation Room
There are two recreation rooms with facilities for indoorgames like snooker, billiards, table-tennis, chess and carrom.The rooms provide ample scope for recreation.
Foreign Language Training
The Institute has a Foreign Language Training CertificationProgram which enables training in various internationallanguages like Spanish, Japanese, Chinese-Mandarin andGerman. This enables our students to get trained inInternational Languages so as to build successful career inglobal business world.

The placement cell in TIMSR is a student managed body with
the objective of finding every participant’s appropriate profile
and providing the employer with the best talent. The
