TEACHING & LEARNING ACROSS BORDERS INTERNATIONAL CURRICULUM
AIMS The Pedagogical University Tyrol (PHT) offers a set of modular courses especially designed for international student teachers of primary education. The programme lasts one semester; it is possible to obtain a minimum of 20 ECTS. Combining lectures, seminars, workshops, school placements, and excursions, the programme aims at enhancing core competences for future teachers in a multi-lingual and multicultural setting, working and studying in an international context and experiencing intercultural exchange.
TARGET GROUP Students of Primary Education from Erasmus+ (KA103) and Erasmus+ International Mobility (KA107) partner universities of the PHT. Each term a maximum of 15 students are accepted.
REQUIRMENTS LANGUAGES English track: German A1; English B2 or higher
German track: German B2 or higher + English B2 or higher
ATTENDANCE Full term, no late arrival or early departures. The academic calendar is available at https://ph-tirol.ac.at/en/content/accademic-calendar .

1.2 OPTIONAL MODULES AND COURSES MODULE TEACHING PRACTICE CREDITS 5 TARGET GROUP Incoming students for Primary Education, German and English Teaching practice consists of - Teaching / hospitation placement at PHT’s practice primary school (3,5 ECTS) - An accompanying seminar (1,5 ECTS) MODULE COURSES FROM THE BASIC CURRICULUM FOR PRIMARY EDUCATION CREDITS 5 to max. 10 Additional courses can be chosen from the 3rd or 5th semester of the basic curriculum for primary education, conditionally upon the student’s language skill, availability and timetable requirements. TEACHING & LEARNING ACROSS BORDERS INTERNATIONAL CURRICULUM
AIMS The University College of Teacher Education Tyrol (PHT) offers a set of modular courses especially designed for international student teachers of primary education. The programme lasts one semester; it is possible to obtain 25 to 30 ECTS. Combining lectures, seminars, workshops, school placements, and excursions, the programme aims at enhancing core competences for future teachers in a multi-lingual and multicultural setting, working and studying in an international context and experiencing intercultural exchange.
TARGET GROUP Students of Primary Education from Erasmus+ and Erasmus+ International Mobility partner universities of the PHT. Each term a maximum of 15 students will be accepted.
