Monday 24 – Sunday 30 November 2014Book Week Scotland is a week-long celebration of
books and reading that takes place every November.
This year organisers, the Scottish Book Trust, are searching for the favourite character from a Scottish
book and you can vote on line.Our P1s will each receive a Bookbug P1 Family Pack
with 3 books in it (all shortlisted for the Scottish Children Book Awards.

‘BeSeen Billy and Bright Betty’
BeSeen Billy and Bright Betty are encouraging the Primary 1 & 2 children to wear their reflective jackets.
The Primary 1 and Primary 2 class with the highest proportion of children wearing their jackets will get to
look after Billy or Betty for the day.
