Faux Metal TutorialJune/July 2010
Put down the heat tool! Hetty Sanders developed and fimed this easy tutorial for creating faux metal pieces that look amazing - without burnt fingers.
Supplies: - Silver Acrylic Paint Dabber- China Black Glimmer Mist- Cardstock- Foam Brush- Cuttlebug (or other embossing machine)- Embossing Folder- Card board box
Step One:Use the foam brush to paint the cardstock with the silver acrylic paint.
Step Two:When the cardstock is dry, put the painted paper in the box. Spray it with china black Glimmer Mist. Don’t cover all of the paper, just a few blobs here and there.

Step Three:Allow the paper to dry. When dried, emboss it with the Cuttlebug/Embossing machine.and slowly making larger circles with your finger.
Step Four:Use as desired on finished piece.
