FOR SPIRITUAL RENEWAL
WHY A MISSION? There is a Catholic tradition for parishes to periodically hold a mission. A missionary is one who is sent to proclaim the “good news”. This is not only for those in foreign lands – but for all of us to become immersed in an activity that individually and collectively – as parish – have an opportunity to renew! This year we have just that. The Franciscan Friars of the RENEWAL – will help us to look at our lives and realize that it IS possible to moment by moment gain a life where we live and trust in the Lord. Although pre-Lent by one week – these 3 evenings (ideally attend all three) can set a tone of sacrifice... Set aside 1.5 hours each night to renew and build Lenten momentum. Do it for yourself – do it for your family – do it for a renewal in the parish of St Stanislaus! We are looking for a FULL HOUSE!
***CONFIRMATION STUDENTS***

We are in the early stages of planning Vacation Bible School ( VBS) for this year and are trying to find a date. We normally host VBS the last week of June but with Arlington’s school schedule we’ve needed to look into another option. We are considering the week of August 5 – 9 Your input is important to move forward in planning our Summer VBS. If this week works for you please let the office know as soon as possible. We need at least 50 children for this program to take place. We also need volunteers to help run VBS, so if you are interested in helping please let us know. Pass the word along to friends and family that are not St. Stan’s parishioners but enjoy attending our VBS.
