IMRO Non-ferrous Separator: NE Metals Recovery or Materials Purification
High-performance IMRO machines are primarily utilised for the recovery of household waste, shredder material, white goods, wood, plastics, glass, slag, bottom ash and e-waste.
The divider is horizontally and vertically infinitely variable. A rotary splitter can be delivered instead of a divider.

Other manufacturers use:• 38 or fewer poles• Small rotorTo prevent burn-through of ferrous particles, other manufactu-rers' concentric rotors include ceramic-lined drum shells which exponentially reduce magnetic strength and separation power, increasing the gap between material and magnet blocks.
Ferrous parts are attracted by the circulating magnetic field, causing high wear and tear on belt and drum shell.
IMRO RCSX D eccentric rotor high tech advantages:• 40 poles comprising of the strongest magnet material• Ultra large diameter on inductor pole drum• The highest magnetic mass• Frequency 1.4 kHz
Ferrous parts cannot be attracted bythe magnetic field
In a concentric rotor, non-ferrous particles are influenced by the magnetic field far too early in the process which prevents optimal separation.
No adjustment is possible at the concentric system and this means that there is no influence on the parabola of the non-ferrous parts, especially on copper wires and heavy metals.
With the IMRO eccentric rotor system, the zenith of the parabola is achieved by adjusting the angle of attack of the inductor drum from 0 to 20 degrees. This is a crucial advantage when compared to a concentric system with a fixed angle of attack. With an infinitely variable pole drum position between0 to 20 degrees, the point of separation is maximized.
The truth about Eddy Current Systems made by IMRO
IMRO uses Eddy Current systems to combine all key variables, ensuring reliable and efficient separation technology of non-ferrous particles. This is how it is achieved:
The pole drum system is infinitely variable from 0 to 20 degrees (IMRO Patent).
IMRO's electronically operated, infinitely variable magnet systems and infinitely variable dividers are available add-ons.

We produce Non-ferrous Separators with different types of rotors. Stronger magnets and lower pole changing frequencies are used for coarser grain sizes than for those used to recycle material comprising finer grain sizes. Optimal applications can be engineered for any combination of number and arrangement of neodymium magnets and pole system rotation speeds.

IMRO non-ferrous separators comprise a thin modern fibre-reinforced drum shell, so the material is moved closer to the magnet system, optimizing the interaction with the magnetic field.
The machines are equipped with electronic controls. As well as converting the frequency of belt and rotor controls, other frequency converters can be added; for example, to control a material feed.
IMRO Non-ferrous Separator has optional IMRO add-ons:
Conveyor technology Non-ferrous pre-separation
Material feed with vibrating chuteInfeed and outfeed conveyor
