MAGELLAN’S ROUTE

In 1505 Magellan sailed 5 ships

(with Trinidad in the lead August

10, 1519) and went west instead

of east. He went under the tip of

Africa, through the Phillippines,

and under the South American tip.

NOVELTY. WHEN HE WAS JUST 10, HE WAS A

PAGE FOR THE QUEEN!

INFORMATION

As a young man Magellan was in the East India

service

He died in the Philippines April 27 1521

Magellan experienced his first war at the Arabian

sea with the Egyptians in the Battle Of Dui .
