We believe that the strongest advocates for the
issues that matter to us are young, everyday
people who are ready for a big change. Our
Field Organizing Internship is a semester-long
position where participants gain and develop
valuable field organizing skills by directly
engaging potential young voters to be more
civically engaged

T H E D E E T S Internship Overview
Semester-long Program
Work with one of themost impactful
voter registrationorganizaitons in Texas!
Register young adults on a daily basis,
primarily on college campuses and
community events.
Mobilize voters through Get Out the Vote
(GOTV) efforts, including canvassing, phone-
banking, block-walking, Parties at the Polls,
and other special events.
Participate in Civc Leadership Program
events at the local and statewide level.
Provide your own transportation to/from
shifts across the city.

Join a community ofcreative and enthusiastic
change makers.
Develop a betterunderstanding about
voter registration in TX
Participate in directvoter mobilization during Get Out The Vote (GOTV)
season.
Young individuals committed to advancing
issues of social justice through policy change
and civic engagement.
Available to complete 10-15hours per week,
mostly weekdays with some evening and
weekend shifts.
Previous experience related to voter
registration, civic engagement, community
outreach, or campaign work is a plus.
Spanish proficiency highly desired.
People of the global majority, women, LGBT
folx, members of diverse faith communities,
and DACA students are strongly encouraged
to apply.
