I'm so excited that it's almost time for Children's Christmas Choir again!
I will be doing sign-ups and rehearsals just like last year- and I am still trying to keep the time commitment to a minimum- time is especially precious this time of year!
Children (ages 7 and up) are invited to sign-up after all Masses again this weekend of November 26/27th. After
parents fill out some brief information (Child's name, parent's email etc.), your child will be given a packet of all of the music we will be singing, as well as a rehearsal CD with all of the songs- so they can listen and learn ahead of
time. Children who sing in the choir will also have the option of dressing as angels and standing with the other angels in the Gospel Pageant (more information will be
given at rehearsal).
Rehearsals are in the music room (Trailer 4) on Saturdays from 1PM until 2:30PM on December 3, 10, and 17. It is
not mandatory that you attend all three to participate, but it is strongly recommended. The Children's Choir will lead
the music at Christmas Eve Mass at 4PM.
I hope to see everyone from last year, and maybe some new friends as well? See
Jennifer in the choir area after any of the English Masses.
Peace in Christ, Jennifer

We have various denominations of cards available. Thank you for your generous and continued support!
The Knights of Columbus wish to thank ALL parishioners for their continued generosity throughout the years supporting and donating to our Can-A-Week campaign instituted five years ago.
As we move into the holiday season and approach the cold weather months of winter, we urge everyone to increase your generous donations to our cause, if at all possible.
This is not linked to the CPO truck we sponsor twice a year: It is our ongoing effort to provide food and everyday items for the St. Eugene's family and close communities.
As always, we thank you for your support to our Knight's mission to support the parishioners, the clergy, and anyone in need within our beloved parish. God bless and thank you for your love!

Esperar Tiene Sus Ventajas Waiting Has Its Advantages
First Sunday of Advent (Isaiah 2:1-5; Romans 13:11-14; Matthew 24:37-44)
Waiting, even for good things, might not be very pleasant. We always feel a certain impatience, particularly if we have been given an approximate time in which things might occur. Waiting also has advantages; it makes us reflect deeply; it intensifies the desire for something to happen; it often makes us reexamine relationships, reasons, and motivations for our wait; and it forces us to prepare. In these preparations—particularly when we wait for the coming of a person we love or the birth of a new family member—the real love that we have for the person expected becomes very clear. As we prepare, love is likely to grow. Love grows with waiting and preparing.
When we are asked for vigilance to wait for the coming of Christ, it is not so that we can grow frustrated, but so that we have an opportunity to prepare by reflecting on the person we wait for, while doing good works that invite us to more and more love and we deepen our desire for the salvation and justice that Christ will bring. It is almost unthinkable that someone would be waiting for a loved one by being unfaithful.
The same thing happens with the promise of the coming of Christ. Until he comes, let us be watchful, that is, attentive to what in our hearts we consider is God’s desire for us; this way, we will be able to offer him the fruit of our love. To say that Christ is King is to recognize the living Christ as the one who gives us life from the cross, the Christ we love, listen to, and obey; and he is the only one who can bring obedience to the people who follow him in order to build a kingdom of peace and reconciliation.
For Reflection ~ How do you prepare for the arrival of a person you love? How do you prepare for the coming of the Lord? What do you hear inside your heart that the Lord wants of you? Nuestra Parroquia
Nuestra Parroquia
