Défis – Vers une certification du textile?Challenges - Towards a textile certification?
Investigate to find more rationale for developing a textile label:
Credibility of certification: How to overcome the limitations of the audit schemes?
How to spread the FT benefits for all the supply chain?
And will this be reflected in retail prices?
How expensive could it become to certify/ monitor all the supply chain?
How to translate the FT model into the textile chain?
How can we balance our core mission, help disadvantaged producers to have market access and at
the same time empower disadvantaged workers?

Perspectives futuresOutlook
No development of a FT textile standard in the next 2-3 years,
• Concentration des ressources sur l’amélioration des conditions de vie des travailleurs dans la chaine d’approvisionnement du coton / textile:Concentration of resources to improve workers’ conditions in the cotton/textile supply chain:
Recruitment of a textiles coordinator at FLO eV to manage the project.
Development, implementation and assessment of pilots projects with other organizations.
4. Informations régulières à tous les concernés.Regular information updates to all concerned.
