Dear All,
We will remember them
We stood still… we stood silent… we remembered them. Lest we forget.
Today, at 11am, your child took part in an act of remembrance and conducted themselves very well. We
showed our values of respect, love and thankfulness as we thought of those who have died for us in wars at
this centenary point. Lest we forget.
We reflected on the images of poppies, soldier silhouettes and ‘In Flanders field’ was read beautifully by
Max H, Lisa J and Chloe L.
With my best wishes.
Paul Beveridge, Headteacher
'Swim Sponsorship' Thank you to all who have sent in the sponsorship money from the Swim for charity. A gentle reminder: if you are one of the few left to hand it in please take it to the Office as soon as possible – Thanks Mary Appleton
Our Values theme this half term is GENEROSITY. We would like to display articles and real life
stories on a central display. The first image to be put on our GENEROSI-TREE will be the photo
above of our recent shoe box donation. Please encourage your child to bring in any
examples of random acts of kindness, charitable giving or other stories of generous hearted
people, to help us explore this message. These can be written, drawn, printed or cut from
newspapers/mags. Generosity links closely to one of our core values: Thankfulness.
